Your Graduation - Modern Baseball
This fight always reminds me that Jackie Chan is truly a modern day Chaplin/Keaton. When recognizing physical comedians, Jackie has to be considered a modern king. This concept is so simple. STICKY FLOOR. Thatâs about it. And yet he makes absolute magic out of it. He gives us a solid fight sequence, genuine humor and some cheeky, sexy stuff. Everything you want, really. This fight might not be the most ferocious action sequence heâs done but, as far as comedic ideas go, this one is up there I think. Itâs great.
The fight is from The Myth which Iâm not going to post a link to because itâs not very good. It has three great action sequences in it (including this one). Track it down at your own peril.
I thought with all the craziness yesterday that we weed something funny to watch!
Check this out!

That Voight-Kampf test of yours. Have you ever tried to take that test yourself?
Flag me, baby
In what I can only describe as a fit of masochism, I browsed my blog through the dashboard for a while.
From the last six months or so, tumblr has flagged as âadult contentâ:
an illustration of a masked assassin
a photo of a woman with throwing knives strapped to her thigh
an illustration of a kenku rogue
an article on trickster gods, with pictures
an illustration of an archer fighting a monster
a 3D model of a thief fleeing a mummy
an illustration of a person holding a shiv
a gif from Robert Bressonâs film Pickpocket, showing the theft of a purse
a photoset of paper miniatures for Player Character rogues
a set of illustrations from Total War: Rome II
an article on medieval daggers and short swords, with pictures
an illustration of a naked tiefling (this one actually does violate tumblrâs new moronic standards)
an illustration of Vex holding Percyâs bullet-ridden body - both nude, in the style of a classical painting (hey, isnât classical art exempt? donât answer that)
an illustration from Robin Hood the Roleplaying Campaign
a link to The History of Byzantium Podcast, with a map. A MAP.
a quote by Liam O'Brian, with a picture from Rashomon
a still from Wes Andersonâs film Rushmore, showing a Swiss army knife
a photo of a mini-jack in someoneâs palm
an article on Knife Terminology, with pictures
And interestingly enough, these four lovely posts werenât flagged. I guess the nipples arenât âfemale-presentingâ. *rolls eyes to the next dimension* But I wonât climb on a soapbox for this. (YetâŠ) So, practical matters.
Some of these are reblogs, so if youâre the Original Poster (and itâs randomly flagged - only two of them arenât), you can request a review. If youâre an artist, or do some actual curating work (Iâm thinking of @oldschoolfrp, with their amazing collection of vintage and hard to find RPG art), I suggest you go into that trouble, and also that you backup your work immediately, and consider exporting it to Wordpress or something.
If youâre an artist who makes NSFW art (or art otherwise doomed to deletion on tumblr), I AM SO SORRY. And I wish I had a cool alternative to suggest to you, but I donât. Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook are all terrified of nipples. DeviantArt and ArtStation are great for a portfolio, and for connecting with other artists, but for connecting with fans, with your audience, not as much.
Tumblr, hellsite that it notoriously is (was?), did a pretty cool thing with the reblog/follow combo, attracting both creators and audience in equal measures, and allowing them to connect. If I donât make art myself, but I have a blog where I follow people and reblog their art, I can feel like Iâm doing something. Like I have a little place of my own, showcasing my impeccable taste if nothing else, along with my rants or whatever. On DeviantArt, all I can do is post comments on other peopleâs work, and itâs just not the same. Itâs not âmyâ thing, I donât have a personal stake, and I wonât stick around for long. So I donât know what to suggest to youâŠ
If someone does know of alternative sites for artists, PLEASE tell us.
That Robin Hood RPG picture is one of mine, but it currently doesnât show as flagged to me. I think it may be one that was flagged in the past until I protested. It would be baffling if the reblogs still are flagged.
Iâm hoping for the best, but I did follow the âExport your blogâ procedure this morning to create an up-to-date backup:

Itâs been running for over 40 minutes and I canât tell if itâs still running or if it crashed. I have 328 pages beginning January 23, 2012, and I know Iâm not the only one trying to siphon the servers today. (As an unofficial back up you can find a huge % of my posts reposted to Pinterest by other people.)
Most of my daily posts are spontaneous, but I have about 50 in the queue spread out as far into the future as November 2019. Iâve been here long enough to see many other crises come and go, but I understand why this one is bad for many people with a wide range of identities and interests.
