“All’s Fair in Love & War”

OKAY well, here we are! This is the cover of my new SVTFOE comic (Forgive me, I’m not really good at epic covers. Kinda sucks, I know XD), so yep! But, here’s some information about the comic beforehand.

1. Not every character is going to be benderbended. Characters like Queen Moon and Ludo will not be genderbended, as I feel I wouldn’t be able to really give their genderbended characters justice, and they just- really don’t fit into the story I want to make from this.

2. This comic WILL be following the main/general storyline of SVTFOE. HOWEVER, it will not be exactly the same, and in some cases, completely different. Main storylines such as Toffee’s storyline and the whole Star has a crush on Marco and Marco and Jackie are together storyline will be mostly the same- but different as well, for reasons right after this.

3. They will not have the same exact personalities as their counterparts. While I am keeping the names Star and Marco, they do have personality differences. For example, Star is not the curious about everything and is a hyper-go-lucky girl that sets everything on fire- well, okay, he is, but it’s toned down. His character, while still very curious about Earth, is more of a… loose free spirit. He doesn’t spontaneously try to… well, try everything on Earth. He’s more… well, princely? Ah, you’ll see how I do him in the comic, but you get the gist. The characters that are genderbended are not going to have the same personalities as their non-genderbended selves.

4. I’m probably going to be spastic about updates to this comic, like maybe I’ll update more then once in one day or maybe not at all for a week, so I apologize beforehand. If you read this far, great! Thanks for reading, and I hope you all enjoy!

It’s tattered, it’s kind of dirty and has a faint smell of cheese, but she still has it!

She did have to use a new one for Cressie, however, as hers…wasn’t that hygienic, and Marco was a very strict dad regarding sanitization of Cressie’s room!

Cressie really liked the turtle finger puppet, however! She keeps with her to this day!

So Booth Buddies was just a tool for drama for the season 3 finale and Lake House Fever, and the Curse of the Blood Moon was just the scapegoat to extend the drama to the end?

The episode certainly affected the characters’ reactions way less than I would have hoped, becoming mostly a way to give the show an excuse to have Star and Marco being concerned about the possible effects of the Blood Moon curse than any actual direct romantic development, but it was still an important episode that allowed the tension built between Star and Marco following Scent of a Hoodie to find an outlet and dissipate, while delivering some cute moments and callbacks between them and helping Marco outgrow the extremely limited vision of his role as a squire that he willingly donned for some episodes.

Is Nova vs the Forces of Adolescence canceled?

E: Hiya! Your friendly neighbor E here taking forever to answer questions. Speaking honestly? I am trying very hard to not cancel nova and writing in general. Like I want to write as much as I can but I am the only one really working on the project. Even my good friends who support me so much on Nova and do amazing artwork for this grateful writer,they are just readers. No one but me has an idea what the story path is or even where it’s going. and admittedly, the characterization of season 3 and 4 really didn’t push me to keep going. I think most of those seasons, character wise, are not great aside from like Tom because hot damn did he get some awesome character growth. And because characters are as important as the story to me, it was hard to stay motivate writing,  especially trying to debate how I was going to handle the entire shift that season 3 and 4 brought (Which btw I am going to ignore because my story was actually planned out when I first created it back in season 1 and it’s such a vastly different direction than canon that it makes sense to just keep going with what I had.) I am also rusty in writing since I accidentally been gone so long and it’s the weirdest disconnect. Like my hands know what to do but my mind feels like what I’m writing isn’t working. so I’ve been trying to get my writing instincts back basically.  So all that plus with more personal responsibilities that I have, it’s been hard to sit down and write. I will try my best to finish Nova though it’s only about a third done. maybe little more if I take out the ‘fillers’ I have planned but just in case I ever have to quit or maybe I feel it’s time to stop for whatever reason, I will update the story one last time with every single idea I was going to write. Story arcs, characters, even super hidden details you probably didn’t realize there was or that I haven’t implemented. I am trying my hardest to come back and I thank every single one of you, past readers, current and future for giving me and this little story so much love. You all pushed me to keep writing and I never thought it would get this far. I say this so much but when I started this little project, I honestly never thought it would go anywhere and you all made me feel like a real content creator. You all made me feel like a writer and pushed me to be a better one. I am going do my best. I will take my time because I don’t want to worry any of you and whatever happens will happen but from the bottom of my heart, thank you all. Here’s to Nova and you awesome readers!
