Daniel Diaz's life is forever changed when he runs away from his abusive stepfather and is forced to spend the summer with his biological father he's never met, Ryan Atwood.

Over the summer, Daniel and Ryan get drawn into the fight over a new building development in Midway and a rival gang conflict, which further upend the neighborhood and their lives.

Midway is a spinoff of The OC, a television series on FOX from 2003 to 2007. (However, you don't need to know anything at all about The OC to enjoy Midway.)

I love OTH and The OC very dearly and not only have I been inspired by the idea of crossover ships (can't get enough pls share your favourite crossover ships). between the two shows to write my own little spin of a story fanfic with my own mix of oc's + Sam and Dean Winchester (ofc I have to add my babies too). Been wondering if anyone would dare to read it if I published it on wattpad and on here?. (maybe ao3 too if someone can convince me too) Please lmk.

Experimenting with a new cover photo for Midway!

Back when I designed the original, I had no idea what I wanted Daniel to look like (or really anything for that matter).

So, I thought I’d play around with a new version that better matches the creative direction I’ve been going lately!

But before I do that, I’m going to polish my initial draft of episode 8 to get that officially ready to publish.

Started the next season of Nobody Wants This and just finished the first episode.

I still think my absolute favorite part of this show is seeing Adam Brody on screen in a vaguely Seth Cohen-y role.

There's a lot of other stuff to love, but that still is No. 1.

This first draft of the script hasn’t been edited or proofread. So, you’ll certainly encounter some typos, and I might rework some scenes during the editing process. But overall, I don’t anticipate things changing too much!

I’ve officially finished a draft of Midway episode 8! Here’s a snippet from one of my favorite scenes.

I’m going to take a brief break from writing and start outlining episode 9.

Before I do that, I’ll share a link to this draft in case anyone wants an early look at it.
