I'm just picturing sherlock having a journal filled with these. And after TRF, and John is sorting through Sherlock's things, he finds the journal. And he reads it. Every last word on every last page. And that's why the flat never gets cleaned. Because John never knew of Sherlock's true capability for love. He didn't think it possible. But there in his hands, in Sherlock's own penmanship, in Sherlock's own words, is the heartbreaking evidence to the contrary.

And John just sits there crying until Mrs. Hudson finds him like that, still clutching the journal. And John can't explain why he's so upset. She thinks its cause he misses Sherlock. And it is.

But its also because he missed his chance to be with the first man he cared about as more than a friend.

So it’s two o’clock in the morning and I literally just laughed really loud out loud at every single one of these and everyone keeps telling me to just go to sleep but just…

I just want Stiles and Derek to run away together to get away from all of the drama, all the death, all the pain. Derek wants to get Stiles out of it all, a normal life even if it means leaving his old one and everyone else behind.

I keep thinking of Stiles being fan of this book series. He’s crazy about it, he loves it to bits and, obviously, because Stiles is Stiles, he has a Tumblr.

Except he isn’t only one more blog, oh no. Stiles is a BNF, has a lot of followers and does this amazing metas and headcanons for his fandom. He can’t draw to save his life, but he writes fanfics and they are crazy popular. 

And then there’s Derek, author of said book series. And one day, because Laura keeps nagging him about knowing his fanbase better, Derek makes a Tumblr account, without revealing who he is. And he ends up following Stiles’ blog, because Stiles is a massive blogger and Tumblr suggested him to Derek.

Imagine Derek going through Stiles headcanons and critics about his books? Imagine Derek blushing while reading very smutty fanfics Stiles wrote with these two characters? Imagine Derek seeing Stiles defending things Derek wrote, imagine him talking about non-canonically ships , damn, imagine if Stiles’ OTP is a non-canon ship that Derek didn’t even think about until that point.

And maybe one day Stiles says something Derek doesn’t agree with and he starts a convo with Stiles about it. And it’s beautiful and long, and the fandom is in awe, because wow, it’s a huge post and it’s so good to read.

Imagine how Stiles loathes the guy, because while he is brilliant, he’s also a jerk and they clearly has divergent opinions. So they always bicker about things, mostly because Derek feels like setting Stiles into the right path, and Stiles gets angry because he refuses to accept what the anonymous blogger is talking about.

They go on like this for a long time, until it’s time for the release of the new installment of Derek’s books. And Derek, while he thinks Stiles is an ass, he also thinks he is smart. So he finds a way of finding out who Stiles is and sends him a prerelase version of his book.

And Stiles is so confused when he gets it, because wow, wow that’s either a prank or a miracle, because how he has it almost a month before the release date? So he opens the book and there’s a message written by Derek. “I really enjoyed all of our arguments. I’m glad a have a reader as passionate about my work as you. Thank you, D. Hale" and under it is Derek’s Tumblr URL.

And Stiles freaks out because W O W. So he logs in and sends a long fanmail, thanking Derek and having a major meltdown, because what the hell, he was arguing with his favorite author all this time? Lies. Stiles wants proof. And proof he has when Derek makes a tweet about it.

So after that, they start to talk. Stiles is liveblogging to Derek only his reading experience. And they talk a lot. About the books, about other books, about nothing at all.

And by the end of the book, maybe they are both a bit in love with each other.

Beyond this, consider how these professions might vary depending on who the customers are - nobles, or lower class. Are they good at their job or just scraping by? Do they work with lots of other people or on their own? City or village?

Sterek AU: when Scott and Stiles move to the other side of the country for college Stiles is relived his reputation of spastic kid and troublemaker won’t follow him there. He vows to be”calm and mature” and hey, it’s working - he’s scored a few dates with the hottest guy on the campus: Derek Hale. Everything is fine until for one of their dates Derek proposes they go camping. Stiles is sure he won’t be able to keep himself still and quiet for HOURS and Derek is going to run away as far from Stiles as it’s possible.
