TUMBLR MURDER MYSTERY – OFFICIAL RULES

I was brutally murdered last night in cold blood. Now the game begins.... we need to find the killer among us.
Game Overview:
- I am dead and will moderate the game + give clues as the ghost.
- The game has Night Phases (private actions) and Day Phases (public discussion & voting).
- Goal: Innocents try to find and vote out the killer. The killer tries to survive.
Roles:
- 1 Killer – Chooses one person to kill each night.
- 1 Detective – Can investigate one player per night to learn their role.
- 1 Doctor – Can protect one player from being killed each night (healing only works if the Doctor chooses the person the Killer targets).
- The rest of the players – Regular Townspeople (normal players who discuss and vote).
How the game works:
- Night Phase: I will DM the Killer asking who they want to kill. I will DM the Detective asking who they want to investigate. I will DM the Doctor asking who they want to heal.
- Once someone is killed, they become a ghost and cannot make posts or interact in the main discussion anymore (they can only watch).
- Day Phase: Everyone discusses in the community, accuses people, and we vote on who to lynch.
Important Rules:
- No cheating. No talking about the game privately with other players unless your role allows it. No screenshots of roles. No metagaming. If you cheat, you will be immediately banned from the community and all future games.
- Be respectful and have fun. No real hate or toxicity.
- Dead players can watch but cannot speak in the main thread.
