UPDATE on Junior Research Project

My personal junior research project, involving following pre-recorded lessons to explore character animation and the use of rigs in blender has been going well. Currently I have been following along to learn the basics of blender and how bones/rigs work within the software as I begin to move on to creating actual animation.

First post for studio class regarding my upcoming animated short film, Unexcused Absences!

Above are some concept sketches and images used for my proposal pitch as well as a glance at my stories finished script. At the moment, progress on the film is going well with finalized character designs, script, thumbnails, and first pass at storyboards finished. Moving forward in production is a second refined pass of storyboards as I move forward into recording scratch audio and putting together a rough animatic for the film.
