S3! Sing! Stage! Stars! (An A3! Voiceover Fan Project)

🌸 Welcome to S3!! 🌸

We are a fanmade voiceover group that will be dubbing over scenes and covering songs from A3! in English. If you enjoy voice acting, singing, or A3!, you’ll enjoy our group!

☀️ Basic Info ☀️

Our main objective is covering songs from the A3! franchise. The singers of the S3! project will be referred to as Vocalists. Vocalists will dub over a specific character, but are not be tied down to a single role. Vocalists will also have a persona exclusive to the S3! project that represents them as a voice actor.

Anyone can join the S3! project. There’s no limit to how many people can join or a threshold for talent. Like Mankai, we believe that everyone, given the chance, can bloom.

You can join this project as either a Moderator, Crew member, Vocalist, or any combination of these. Please check the info sheet in the Links section for more details on each position and how to apply.

can we send more than one file for the singing audition / more than one monologue for the voice acting audition?

Unfortunately, the settings for that Google form doesn’t allow that and I can’t change it after it’s posted :(

However, if you’d still like to submit more than one file, you can either put the audios together on their respective file (as long as they’re under 10 GB), or you can message this account with the links to the files and I can manually change the spreadsheet to make sure we have your audios!

For the vocal auditions, do you want us to drop our voices to a more masculine range or to sing wherever is most comfortable for us?

If you don’t mind or are unsure about which character you’re auditioning for, then sing however is most comfortable for you!

But if you’re specifically auditioning for a character with a lower voice (such as Juza, Guy, or Tasuku), then my suggestion for your audition would be to sing in a lower register. This is because their parts in songs can get rather low, so I’d like to make sure that those who get assigned their parts are comfortable in that range and are able to hit those notes.

Hello! Just curious, when will we get the results on who's accepted?

Hi, sorry for the wait! 

Those who have applied for a Mod position will be contacted within the next week. Vocalists and Crew members should be contacted either later in the week or the first week of February. Please expect a friend request on Discord or a message on tumblr within that time frame. Those who submitted applications earlier will be contacted first.

can one apply both as a mod and a vocalist?

Yep! Just make sure that your answers for the first few identifying questions match so I know it’s the same person on both applications ^^

And make sure to check the info sheet for more specifics on each position before submitting your applications!

is there a deadline to audition as a vocalist?

There are no deadlines for applications as vocalists or mods/crew members!

Recruitment is ongoing since people tend to be busy at different times. Though there’s no concern for it now, if there is an influx of auditions, we can work on a rotation system.

Apologies for not answering questions recently (シ_ _)シ The main mod ran into some personal issues within the last week and was not able to work on this project until now.

For the singing audition, would you prefer to hear our natural voice or see some different character voices/tones?

If you’re auditioning with a specific character in mind, I’d suggest recording with the character voice. I might ask for another sample for voice range at another time, but do that first

If you don’t have a character in mind or can’t choose, then my preference would be however you are most comfortable singing the song. So, your natural voice would be fine!
