I don’t know if you know this, but the brain of an octopus is spread throughout its entire body. Our brains direct each little thing in our bodies. They’re micrmanaging jerks, really.

But an octopus brain has to say, “Hello tentacle brain. It might be a good idea for you to reach out and grab that food in front of us. Could you do that, please?”

Some tentacles even have their own personalities. They are more active than other tentacles. Their tentacles have bad days. They have good days.

We’re all a little bit like tentacles if you think about it.
