ducking under the steering column, holding the phone between his shoulder and his ear, bucky was quick in hot wiring the car he had choosen. making a note to himself to find a headset so he had both hands free.  “ the layout of the fucking continent hasn’t changed, kiddo. ” checking quickly over his shoulder, bucky put the car into gear and pulled away from those after him eyes never staying still, taking in everything. “ and im sure you’ll get your inexperienced ass caught or something.”

Bellamy rolled his eyes but had a grin on his face as he  hot wired the car. He was more amused by Bucky calling him kiddo then anything really. He was the youngest out of all the Winter Soldiers. “Don’t call me that.” He protested just because he could. He gave a quick glance around and  drove away from the chaos as quickly as he dared. “If I do  will you come and get me?”

Some people are just born to fight, I think. It’s not that they’re born brave. It’s not that they’re born strong. It’s just that the universe has decided that this one, this one will have grit and fire and steel in their blood. And it’ll be tested, this cosmic mettle of theirs. They’ll face trial after trial, be broken and damaged in countless ways. But this one was born to fight. Maybe it’s not the life they would have chosen. Maybe they’d love to lay down their arms. But they were born to fight. It’s what they know. It’s what they do best. It’s all they can do.

“Don’t apologize,” he said softly, offering him a small smile. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”  He pulled the fries closer to him, offering one of the entire bags to Bellamy.

Bellamy looked from the fries to Bucky then back to the fries before slowly reaching out to take the bag, hoping the male wouldn’t snatch it away from him. He grabbed a handful of  fries and moved away, sticking one in his mouth. “Thank you.”

Bellamy froze a bit because he was sure he took the fries without Bucky realizing it. He swallowed hard and ducked his head down, a submissive gesture he hasn’t got over yet. “Sorry.” He mumbled, not sure the male would’ve shared with him if he asked.

“Because I should not interfere.” He said simply. “I know you would have taken the money. But the question is, would you have found me? I’m a celestial being. Older than the Earth itself. I don’t want to get involved in this kind of human trouble… It’s so… Petty…”

Bellamy gave a dark smirk towards the male. “I  wouldn’t have stopped until I found you.” If he  was getting paid for a job he would complete the job. “Petty huh? Then why are you here if we are  petty?”

Venali bit his lower lip not sure if he could tell the whole tale but deciding it was the best option. “The guys that made you. I don’t know if you remember but they sent you after me once. I got away. But they’re still after me…”

Bellamy looked at the male’s face, making a sound in the back of his throat as he did. “Yeah I remember  you.” He remembered his handlers sending him after the male but he got away. One of the many that got away from him.

“You don’t have to get dolled up, just come like that. No one is gonna care that you aren’t dressed up. Besides, my friends know that I’m a zombie and haven’t spilled that secret so I’m pretty sure they won’t even give your troubles with the law any thought. Besides, Clive isn’t going to be there.”

Bellamy sighed but smiled at Liv. “Alright but first sign of trouble and I’m coming back home.” He really didn't want to deal with the cops or anything tonight.

Hell if they were going to be stuck on the run with each other for the foreseeable future then bucky sure as hell wanted to make some sort of game out of it. and he did always love a free drink even if he couldn’t actually get drunk. it was the THOUGHT that counted after all. with his cap down far over his face he cut through an alley again and doubled back on himself before breaking into a nearby car. he might not want to be like this anymore, but he currently needed transport more than this person did. “ well prepare to be separated from your money, buddy. I traveled across Europe when the nazis were in power, good luck beating me.”

Bellamy couldn’t help the amusement he felt at the bet they had going on. He put his elbow through the glass of a car to distract the agents after him, walking away from the loud alarm going off to search for a better car. “A lot has changed since your old ass traveled across Europe.” He teased, finding the car he wanted and held his phone between his ear and shoulder as he broke into the car without setting off the alarm.

“That’s great, Bucky really.” Bellamy grinned sarcasticallyas he looked over to see the male playing a video game,which Bellamy couldn’t get into at all. He didn’t see the point of playing games when he could remember thewhole map or whatever and beat them in no time.

it had been a change of topic so as not to attract attention, or at least anymore attention but bucky huffed out a laugh anyway. beer it was. and he made a metal note to pick some up at some point. “germany for you, czech for me…I’ll RACE you, looser buys the beer.” thank god for europe’s open border policy since his route would probably take him through four or five countries. though he could either FIND a bus or BORROW a car to do that. maybe the latter since prauge seems to have run out of hiding place for him right now.

Bellamy couldn’t help the smile that showed on his lips as he heard Bucky’s WAGER. He  chuckled lowly as he looked for a car to take for a little while. As long as it wasn’t one that would draw attention to him he was fine with taking it. “Got yourself a deal.” He didn’t know if he would be able to use a car for most of the way there before he had to ditch it.
