Background.

Shadow, a mere demon from the depth of hell that was forced to arise to earth to guide cruel souls further into the breaking point of evil. Attempts are made by the misfortunate demon- but chances are of him friendlying with others rather than making them worse than they already are.

Its a demon! But this one appears less harmfull than the one everyones been dealing with. Shadow humms, his tail wagging as he floats beside Athena, before emrely just sitting.

Shadow smirked with a chuckle, before sitting on Athenas shoulder, but still floating. Shadow seems to be quite light overall. His tail moving and.. wagging, even.

“ seems like you have gotten in troubles with one of my specie. ”

Hearing the Shadow demons voice, Bertie quickly looks up with wide eyes and nods.

"Uh huh I wanna see Papa!! Can you tell Onkle Klavi to take me??"

The demon smirked wiht a gentle smile as he knelt down and jeld out a hand for bertie to take.

Bertie's eyes light up a second before he thinks a second. "But wait, I don't want Onkle Klavi to get upset cause I'm gone... should I leave him a note?'

Nodding quickly, Bertie goes over and grabs some crayons and paper. He leaves a hasty note for Klavier before taking the shadow anon's hand.

The shadow nods, smilling gently before he begans wandering off with bertie to the hospital Kimi is staying st for now, so the little guy could visit his poor papa

It's quite the long trek for a little guy to make past his bedtime, but soon he makes it to Kimi's room and puts himself in a chair. He doesn't wake Kimi up, he just sits there and watches him very closely to make sure he's okay.

The shadow watches for a minute or so, before he simply sighed and... seemingly dissappeared, leaving bertie with his papa for their likes.

the demon simply kneels down to be more at level with bertie and carefully pats the sniffly little guy- what a gentle demon.

The voice from the shadows sounds, leaning against a wall as kai watches everything unfold, neither seem too amazed by everything going on, it appears. But despite it all- it still concerns this one demon, even if against his better judgement.

The silence between the soul and the demon is almost deafening as Kai observes all the drama- sucessfully enough- hes managing to throw the family appart. Keeping kimi busy out the house with his puppet help, making sure basil is also busy leaving bertie against the family... Its all working into his favour now, isnt it? Ofcourse.

A smirk grows into his face as he chuckles, his hand moving over to his mouth as he watches.

“no, i dont see why i should regret it.”

The question lingered on the air between the 2 as Shadow approached the soul. Moving to grab him. He had seen enough, in all honesty— but what was there for him to do. ... He knew the souls plans pretty damn well, and hed not be willing to let it all happen at all. Not in a single chance he could let this soul kill its brother out of pitty revenge.

“ ... This is enough, Soul. ”

His words blurred with the wind as his tail lashed around in wags.
