Right then, let me start by introducing myself. My name is Sheryl, I live in beautiful Edinburgh and I’m pretty much addicted to social media. Jeez, it feels good to say that! I was actually born in the Highlands of Scotland in a place called Inverness. Home to the Loch Ness Monster and speaking the ‘Queen’s Own English’ or something like that, which basically means we speak really well in Inverness. However, I’m not sure people would say I speak well – they are more likely to say I speak too much. Being a Gemini, I have to agree but I prefer to be known as a great ‘communicator’! I love travelling and exploring new cities, although I find myself always going back to New York. One thing you should know, I heart New York and I strongly believe I was a New Yorker in a previous life. I will talk a lot about New York in my blog just to warn you. I think it’s one of the best cities in the world and my love for it has somewhat become an obsession. My friends and family buy me everything and anything with New York City on it….I could open my own shop! Then there’s cooking and baking. I love to be in the kitchen trying out new recipes. I have visions of being a domestic goddess in the kitchen looking calm and glam like Nigella, whisking up delights without needing to use a recipe book. My aim this year is to master macaroons! Not forgetting my love for planning and organising (sad I know), photography, magazines, movies, yoga, watching Sex and the City over and over again, reality TV, celebrity news, cocktails and peanut M&M’s.
