I’m glad Lord Tubbington cares about others, he seems like he’s a very wise cat. He could teach a few humans about the values of caring for others, I think.

Mike Chang is a good dancer, isn’t he. I don’t think he would be able to do cheer leading as well as most of us though, if only because he doesn’t know how to cheer properly. Lucky charms are one of the best cereals, with a mix of sensible and marshmallows.

Well yes, I don’t see why hitting someone else in the face is considered a sport, but that’s just me. The point is I guess though, that the bake sale happened…Even if it wasn’t…as happy as I had been hoping for.

I’m sorry, I’m just so used to having to defend myself and my friends from the assumption that if one soc did something, we all did it. And I only started boxing as a form of defense, but I’m good at it and I enjoy it, so why shouldn’t I participate with other people who do? I wouldn’t participate outside of the club with people who weren’t trained anyway outside of necessity, which is why I didn’t jump in the ring that night.

Yeah, the bake sale was not quite what you were aiming for, was it. I’m still upset that some of my friends would join in with that, and questioning how I never found out about it considering I’m a soc too. At least it was icing and batter rather than something worse, this time?

Hey, I had nothing to do with Sue taking over the idea, and nor di I have anything to do with one person changing your plan randomly. Just because I’m a Soc doesn’t mean I would sabotage you like that, Marley, and nor does it mean my friends would either.

Sports do tend to thrive in this school. Even Boxing, which has less members than most sports clubs, has a decent amount of funding, especially when compared to clubs like the New Directions or Drama. I’d question if it was due to the percentage of socs involved in the sport clubs if I didn’t know that Sue was in charge of the funding.

As a member of the Cheerios and the New Directions, I agree that you’re one of the best dancers on either squad! You should get a few people together and run a large class for everyone in both clubs eventually. Or at least, you should teach me how to do some of your better moves.

I was just going to give it back into the school. I mean I know the kitchens need some serious upgrades and the lunch program, and some of the library books. Obviously proceeds from a bake sale won’t really help that much but every little bit counts.

Your good intentions have, apparently, gone astray. Which at least means that they have some possibility of working, as Coach wouldn’t have taken the idea if she thought it was going to be useless.

Maybe we could organize something else for the school kitchens and library, because I can’t see her leaving any money for that if she can help it. And even if she does, it won’t be enough to do so. Presuming Dalton doesn’t go ahead sooner than planned, we could try and convince a few Social families to help the school out because their kids will be here for a while yet.

The canons are entirely true. She is rather scary to be a cheerleader under occasionally, but I guess it’s needed to be a national champion team this many times in a row.

It could have but I choose not to think about it that way. I’m alive and well. Is this your way of expressing your concern for me? If so, I’m touched, Blaine. And I say that without the usual sarcasm attached. Maybe you don’t hate me after all.

Well, no one said that there wouldn’t be casualties. Everybody who participated knew the risks of doing so. – Walking on eggshells? That’s ridiculous. One rough, though exciting, night doesn’t change anything. Everything will return to normal sooner rather than later.

Sebastian, of course there is concern involved. I may not agree with everything you say, and I’m not going to hide and pretend that I do, but you were a big part of my life for a few years. So, yeah, I was worried about you. And it’s not as if there isn’t a precedent for significant injuries with attacks.

I didn’t realize that you cared if I hated you or not.

Anyway, I agree, it will return to normal soon enough. Just with everything happening on top of each other - the New Years’ Eve party, the vandalism of McKinley, the discovery of the greasers turning on their own and then the fight or flight night - I think everyone is looking for a few weeks of calm to recollect themselves.

I’m aware that my silence has been a cause for concern for many of you and my presence has, of course, been missed but I have finally returned, though not without injury. Fortunately, the worst of it all has been my fractured wrist, a now painful reminder of that night. I came out a victor and my win has been tainted. But fear not for I will discover who that driver was and they will pay for what they have done in due time.

I’m glad the worst of it is a fractured wrist. We were expecting worse with how long you’d gone silent after the accident. And the fact all we heard about you was that you’d been hit with a car.

We both know it could have been a lot worse. When you find out who did it, be careful, please? Who knows if it was a group plan rather than just the driver of the car.

I don’t think you have missed much, Sebastian, other than people being in the hospital and coming out still bruised. I think everyone was so thrown by how many people ended up with injuries on both sides that we’ve all been walking on eggshells since the fight or flight night.

So I talked to Principle Sylvester about an activity to maybe lift spirits lately and though she didn’t share my amusement in my planning. I proposed we have a bake sale on National Pi Day! That way it’s school appropriate because math, and also baking appropriate because pie!

She told me if I can rally enough people who’d like to be involved we can make it an actual day. Bringing baked goods wouldn’t be mandatory, if you didn’t want to, I know we’re not all kitchen savvy but showing up with a smile and good vibes couldn’t hurt right?

It’s not till March, so just something to keep in mind guys!

It’s Principal Sylvester, it’s unlikely she’d be pleased by anything unless it involves harm, fire or a Cheerios routine being performed perfectly. Or those combined.

I’d love to help with the Pi Day, it sounds great! March the 14th is next Wednesday, so we’d need to get as many people as possible to sign up in the next few days. I could bring a few pies down and spend some time on the stalls.

Where would the proceeds of the bake sale go? I presume certain bakers are going to be paid back for the ingredients, but there should be more left over, especially if some of us don’t ask for it back. The New Directions could definitely use some funding, if there’s not already a plan for it.

After an oh so long ten minutes considering my options, I’m considering letting a stylist cut my hair shorter. There’ll even be enough to donate to charities. It may be a little late for the ‘new year new me’ motto, but no one ever said ‘new month new me’ wasn’t a thing.

And it’s nice to give to charity too, especially when most hair donations go to ill children.

Becky: Ugh one of you all or someone find me a date. But make sure its not one of those losers, that belong in the deep ocean with the fishies.

Blaine: I'm sorry, Becky, I'm not really sure how to help you. Hopefully, if you've sent this out to enough people someone should be able to help you, right?

Blaine: You're a nice girl, Becky, so I hope you find someone. Maybe try and see if there's someone nice at the Smythe's Club?

Frannie had been inexplicably excited about Fight or Flight since it was announced. Of course, no one truly knew that. She spent too much effort pretending to be the perfect Fabray daughter that her excuse for being there at all was simply a ‘to support her friends’ ordeal. Okay, and she had her camera well and securely around her neck ready to snap all the action she could possibly have time to snap. In fact, she was snapping a few shots and taking a look at them on her camera as she turned, walking straight into another person. “Sorry! Sorry… My bad… Broken knuckles were just too good to miss.”

Blaine was waiting for the next event, showing up out of worry, for his friends and for his status as a social, when someone walked into him. The immediate apology of the girl allowed him time to turn around and register Frannie Fabray as the offender. “It’s okay, Frannie. How is your photography project going?”

Marley: I mean we shouldn't have to be careful, but this rivalry is as dumb as ever, but I'm done being nice and pulling the nice card. Not after what they did to Ryder.

Blaine: Other than the article on Buzz, I haven't heard about what happened to Ryder. Is he okay?

We’ve all been cheap entertainment for years now, especially greasers, so this is just it culminating in two events. I can hardly believe that it was greasers that did it to Marley, you always look supportive of each other. 

Keeping the money to leave is probably useful. Have you chosen where you want to go after graduating, or is it just anywhere but here?
