There are “But Thou Must” dialogue options that make you roll your eyes on a replay. And there are “But Thou Must”s that make you facepalm. And there are ones that make you wince, and mentally spawn AUs where you were allowed to make the other decision. But there are very few “But Thou Must”s that are as agonizing on a replay as this one:

On my second playthrough as a young kid I literally spent 15 minutes choosing "Stay here, Gremio" in hopes that somehow I could convince him.

You really have to admire the patience, dedication and love of Suikoden Artist. Just wow, the Artist did not just draw 108 characters.
