I have a lot of specific headcanons about Two Time and Azure as well as the whole cult of the spawn because of a dream I had-
I wanna write them down here because I don’t want to forget anything, so in particular order:
-The cult is located around an abandoned church building that sits right next to a creek (in my dream the creek was named Ceder Creek, this is a vivid detail)
-The cult used a lot of temporary structures/structures that could be made quickly (canvas tents, log leaning cabins, anything that could be built in under two days time.)
-The old Church was repurposed for the Spawn cult, but is still very run down internally.
-Actual buildings and cabins were reserved for the higher ranking members of the cults, if you wanted a nice living space you had to earn it.
-The gardens were located towards the outskirts of the territory and were kept smaller
-In my dream, which is being converted into this headcanon set, there was a “Purification” Ritual where a cult elder would drag you down the creek to the deeper portion and hold the unpure person underwater while insighting prayers until the person was deemed pure. The person being put through the ritual would be allowed up for brief bursts of air. This wasn’t a ritual meant to kill.
Now character specific stuff:
- Two Time was ostracized despite being born in the cult because their parents were newly joined at the time of their birth. Two Time’s parents didn’t stay in the cult long and abandoned Two Time around the age of 2
-Two Time’s original name was Thistle (Thomas was the name given by their parents, but the cult changed it after their parents left)
-Two Time was given the name “Two Time” after sacrificing Aspen
-Aspen used to call Two Time “Thyme” as a nickname
-Two Time no longer responds to the name Thistle and reacts negatively when called Thyme
-Two Time underwent a purification ritual a couple months after sacrificing Aspen, having confessed regret for their actions to the elder Amarah
-Two Time only lasted a year in the cult after sacrificing Aspen. They killed themself in the same field of nightshades that Aspen died in using a mix of nightshade poisoning and stabbing themself in the stomach and then their eye (Nightshade TT skin hc explanation)
-Amarah kept Two Time extremely isolated by rapidly moving them up the ranks of the cult. Two Time served as the cult’s executioner for a short time (how TT got their milestone skins)
-Two Time was in a heavy dissociative state after they killed Aspen. They do not remember much of anything from that time period other than the purification ritual.
-Azure was one of first killers that the Spectre actually acquired, though it didn’t have a way to revive and animate him until later killers came along.
-Azure was partially rotten and decomposed when the Spectre got him, so when he was revived they had to “fix” parts of him.
-Azure was reanimated by a supernatural mold that basically serve as a new nervous system (makes more sense for my Azure design than canon)
-Aspen was stabbed 4 times by Two Time, first a back stab and then a stab in his heart. Two Time then stabbed him two more times in the abdomen to speed up the death.
-Azure is one of few killers that needs breaks between rounds due to the fact that he lacks natural healing abilities and he gets exhausted a lot faster than the other killers
-Azure doesn’t like the Spectre at all
-There was a good period of time where Two Time was a part of the survivors before Azure was added into the Killer ranks (Azure’s later addition date and the fact I think it’s interesting)
-Azure doesn’t fully know what Two Time went through after his death, only what the Spectre told him. The Spectre twisted the story to make Azure more angry at Two Time.
