I was just thinking about going to the supermarket when I was a kid and remembered that not only was there a cashier on the till, there was another member of staff to pack your shopping into bags as well, but I immediately thought no, I must be misremembering that but of course they did, it just seems inconceivable at this stage of capitalism that they’d provide such an indulgence for free.
