ya know what I want to see more of in the study/bujo community

I want to see more dark photos.

I want to see more photos with diverse, colourful, and interesting backgrounds.

I want to see more notes written in ballpoint

I want to see more of the rushed bujo pages made because you didn’t have time to do it but didn’t want to have that week missing from your journal

I want to see more in-class notes, the notes you took before you re-wrote them to make them “post worthy”

I want to see more messy desks. The aftermatch of journaling and studying

I want to see more wooden desks, more desks that aren’t white, more desks covered in coffee rings and paint splats

I want to see more on the fly photos

And I’m not writing this because I want to support “small accounts” or “poor study accounts” I want to see it because I’m sick of every single post looking the same as the one I saw last. I’m tired of accounts with amazing content not getting the growth they deserve because their photos aren’t overexposed on white desks. I want to see it because it stands out, it’s different, and I like it.

So many accounts quit before they even get started because of the precedent that you have to have expensive stationery and stark white photos to grow and make an impact. Because they don’t feel they can live up to the expectations of the community. And that makes me really sad.

NUMERICALS

Doing maths and physics or subjects which require you to solve numericals?? Not good at solving numericals??

For convenience.... write down the numericals you weren't able to solve in the first go on a different sheet of paper so that they don't get lost and you don't have to find them. With all the difficult numericals in one place, it will be easier to prepare for the finals and you won't have to rummage through hundreds of worksheets and questions just to find those difficult ones.

Learning French?

For someone like me, who didn't have anyone around who could speak French, the only way left was simply revising what I knew,and if possible, reading.

But, so what!? Converse with yourself! They are really important! First off, you know what is being said and secondly, there are so many words that we don't even know but are really important!!!

Conversing with oneself gives us the freedom to learn new words, we can search new words and be able to form better sentences... understand which tense is used when.

I learn while I write... its the best way to me... but simply writing and not understanding... nope.

So,

I make notes thrice. Once in the book itself when the teachers explaining.. writing down all the points in the margins or colourful post its. That way, when I open the book, I instantly know what para says what and I have a detailed summary.

Then, in my revision notebook, I write down all that I can remember about what was taught.

Next, I compare it with what's in the book. I understand and revise what I had missed and then, when I believe I am ready, I take down proper notes from my memory. Then, with a different coloured pen, I write down all that I had forgotten.

Then, the 3rd time, when my tests are near... I follow the same procedure of writing down all from my memory and then concentrate on the parts I had forgotten.

Even though this works for me, everybody's studying style is different... so don't worry if this doesn't work for you, something else surely will.
