I was learning Japanese by myself + practiced writing Hiragana + Katakana. I can read Hiragana + Katakana now w/o referring to my notes, but I can’t read them quite fluently yet + I can also write them now (slowly).

Till now, I still can’t handle Kanji yet. I know Chinese but its pronunciation is different from Kanji. Their meanings are similar to each other, so whenever I read Kanji, I can mostly understand the meaning but I can’t pronounce them without the Hiragana.

I can understand everyday Japanese conversations (from watching anime ever since I was 8y/o) but can’t speak fluently yet 😅

I think I am some code issues.... I am trying to add the badge to my theme and I can't see it showing up (my blog is lemoslearning)... I have tried changing the color just in case but I made it black and I still can't see it... Any help??

I think it’s because your theme has a navigation in the top left corner! If you set the bottom and right margins for the code to 0, it should align to the bottom right instead!

hi, i was trying to as the html to my theme to add the badge but it appears that my theme doesnt have a

? i was wondering if there was anywhere else that i could add the html to. ta xx

hmm, pretty much every theme should have a body tag! if you can’t find it, just put it after the css ends (usually after ) and as close to the other html as possible!

Sure! Just move the HTML to the bottom of the body of your theme code. Search for

About the form for joining the study cult, if we have no experience whatsoever in the subject, should we just check "learning"?

if by no experience you mean that you’re just starting out, check learning! if you mean that you haven’t learned the subject at all, just skip it. :)

Hm... that’s weird! It’s okay if you don’t use the icon, you can just use the text! If you want a link to the icon image uploaded somewhere, just shoot me another ask :+)

Hey! I’m sorry about that, it’s totally okay though! Experience doesn’t particularly matter in this network, as long as you’re willing to help others in the subjects you do list as experienced. I’m certain that you’re very capable and intelligent no matter what boxes you check on my form.

Not really an update, but for languages, have you considered an "intermediate" option? Fluency is debated for one thing, but also it's really difficult to test, and it would make it easier for people to find someone who knows what they're talking about, but is a fellow learner rather than a native speaker. :)
