The Avengers Doomsday trailer is allegedly coming out before the end of the month and tbh it has a LOT of heavy lifting to do to sell me on this movie because so far the marketing has been pretty bad. Its all just been "Hey guys, look, we're bringing back the X-Men, and Steve Rogers, and RDJ isn't that cool??". And like, I need more than that. Why should I care about this movie? Like, pretend im a person who has never seen the 2000's X-Men and explain why I should be excited. What storyline is culminating? Who's character arc are we following? Like, movies are more than the cast list. I need to know there is an actual story that justifies its existence more than "Look the Avengers and the X-Men are fighting"
