--- Hunter Campbell:
So far, the fact that she hadn’t slapped him and told him to leave was what Hunter saw as a small victory for him. There was no doubt in his mind that he deserved every bit of her anger, but the fact that she hadn’t done anything like that so far gave him hope: hope that perhaps things weren’t completely lost yet. Hunter thought that perhaps there was a slim possibility that some feelings still remained for him deep down beneath her pain and that was something that he held on to. If there was any chance that he might be able to make up for the horrible thing he’d done… well, he wasn’t going to waste that. “It does matter. All of it matters,” he countered with a shake of his head. His hands were still gently cupping her face, his desire to kiss her still very strong. He only just then realized how much he’d missed the feeling of her skin beneath his fingers — he ignored that thought though as it led him down a dangerous path. His lips pressed together when she still didn’t answer his question and he sighed softly. “Why not? Because there’s a chance that you might actually still care about me?” He asked. After hesitating for just a moment, he went on. “If you love him then tell me now and I’ll leave you alone. But if there’s even an ounce of you that still feels something for me, then I’m not going down without a fight.” His words held a promise that he hoped she caught on to because he meant every bit of it. If there was a possibility that she still cared then Hunter was not going to just let her go.
“It doesn’t.” Harlow countered, though her voice was growing softer. The blonde didn’t want to go soft; despite the fact that she understood his actions and his motivations behind the way he acted, it still didn’t mean that she didn’t want to be angry. Because while she was angry, she could pretend that her feelings had been erased, that she no longer wanted him, that it didn’t hurt anymore. While she was angry, she could pretend she could turn her back and it wouldn’t hurt, it wouldn’t mean one damn thing. “I don’t- I don’t care about you.” Despite her words, she sounded alarmed, like she’d been caught, like he knew. But she would keep her façade, he wouldn’t win. She wanted to say it, more than anything, she wanted to lie and say she was in love with the man waiting for her downstairs. But how could she, when what they had was based on lies? He didn’t know anything about her, other than the version she’d showed him. And she didn’t make an effort to know anything about him because, well, she didn’t care. Hunter had done a number on her, and she wasn’t about to let anyone close enough to the same as he had. “I feel something for you. Anger and regret.” And while that was true, there were other things that she felt for him too. “You can’t take back what you did, so please... Let this be enough for you. I don’t even know why I came here to talk to you. I thought I’d have some closure, but... I guess that’s not how it works.”
--- Riley Taylor:
Not that she wasn’t happy to see her step-brother, but she hadn’t expected anyone to be home, hence why she’d felt comfortable enough to walk around in nothing more than the towel she still held tightly around herself. Riley was suddenly very glad that she’d decided to wear the thing at all — in her own apartment, she would have just walked around naked instead. Even so, it wasn’t the most awkward situation she’d ever been in and she found herself relaxing a moment later, a smile appearing on her face. “Yeah, they left this morning for some last minute business trip. They won’t be back for a couple of days,” Riley informed him as she took a couple of steps towards him. He was clearly not very comfortable with her lack of clothing and — while Riley should have probably run off to remedy that — she chose to stay where she was. “You can always spend the weekend with me. Unless you think spending the weekend with your stepsister is lame or something,” she shrugged.
“Ah, damn.” Evan’s shoulders slumped at the news, he had expected to spend some time with his family now that he had been able to actually take the weekend off, but being home with Riley wasn’t so bad, it counted for something. “It’s the lamest thing ever, who even wants to spend any time with you at all?” He teased with a small smirk, though to be honest, he didn’t have any problems with it. He got along with Riley just fine, he did enjoy her company, and having the house all to themselves couldn’t be so bad. It was quiet after all, which is exactly what he needed. A little break from the rest of the world. Plus, if either of them got annoyed or got on the other’s nerves, all they had to do would be leave and lock themselves inside their respective bedrooms. What could go wrong? “Honestly, it’s going to be the best weekend in a while. I need to take a shower and you--- need to put on some clothes. And then we can hang out, maybe? I’m starving, so we should order some food too.”
--- Cameron Brody:
He sighed as he pushed his arms around the blonde and dug his head into her shoulder. Sometimes all he needed was somebody to be there and listen to him. He went a little crazy in his own thoughts at time. “Thanks,” he breathed out, giving her a thankful kiss on the forehead. “She has put me through hell,” he spoke quietly, removing his head so that he could look at Blair. “Sometimes I think I’d be better off if she wasn’t here. But still I’m… I’m worried about her. I can feel it, but I don’t know why I feel it. Yeah, she’s family by blood. But she’s a bloody nightmare.”
“You’re welcome.” The blonde uttered in response, allowing her fingers to drag along his hair. She hated seeing him like, knowing there was nothing that she – or anyone, really – could do to make him feel better. “I know.” Unfortunately, Blair knew all about that, and how badly a terrible relationship with a sibling could mess one up, if her relationship with her own brother was anything to go by. Except, he didn’t put her through quite the same hell as Cam’s sister put him. “She’s your sister. No matter what, you’ll always worry about her. You’ll always love her.” That much she knew it was true. “She may be a bloody nightmare, but she’s yours. Nothing can erase that.”
--- Tamsin Rosa:
The Italian didn’t know why she was feeling so insecure all of a sudden. It was a new feeling for her, perhaps fuelled by the large amount of love she felt for Rowan. Love was something very powerful and real for Tamsin but she was also very strong-minded and able to guard herself if she needed to. But only up until a certain point. “Do you really mean that?” she questioned with a small grin, stepping forwards to rest her hand on his arm. “I don’t need big loving gestures or anything, I’m not that kinda girl. I just…that’s all I needed to hear.”
“I really mean that.” Rowan reiterated, arms shooting forward so her hands could come to rest on her waist, gently, but firmly, holding onto her. He may not know much about love, but he was guided by what felt right to him and this – being with Tamsin, having her in his arms, it felt right. So, he would fight for that, he would fight to keep this girl by his side, for as long as it felt good and right for the both of them. “If all you need is to hear me say that you’re the one that I want, then I’ll remind you every day. That’s easy enough.”
Text: Adam --> Brooke
Adam: But you can find it again.
Adam: We don't have to be. It can be different. We can start again.
Brooke: I'm not sure I can.
Brooke: We tried, Adam. It didn't work. What makes you think that it would be any different now?
--- Emerald Fitzgerald:
( °. WHEN HE WAVED off her question about his exam, emerald smiled and nodded slowly as she looked down at her hands momentarily. and when he told her he was glad he made it in time, she lifted her gaze again, her smile wide. “ yeah, me too. it’s going to be nice… you know, not having to go in alone. “, the brunette explained, lifting her shoulders nonchalantly as if it weren’t too big of a deal – but to her, it really was. “ oh, i think – “, em began as she wanted to answer his question about the doctor, when suddenly her name was called. “ right now. “, she answered and smiled softly at him. standing up, emerald considered offering him her hand but she wasn’t sure he’d really appreciate that – after all, it’s not like they were a t h i n g, right ? however when the doctor asked who the young man in her presence was, the brunette felt her heart skip a beat and with a proud smile she told her it was the father of the baby, her hand searching his as the words fell from he rlips.
Logan gave a nod of his head at her response. He couldn’t imagine being her and going through all of that alone. He felt a tinge of guilt because of that, but how was he supposed to know? She hadn’t told him, he couldn’t possibly be there before. But he’d make up for it now, by being present and helping her out with whatever she may need. “Oh.” He breathed out, his attention caught by the doctor who called out her name. Suddenly there was an agitation on the pit of his stomach and he realized just how nervous – and excited, maybe? – he truly was for this. He followed right beside her as Emerald walked into the examination room, feigning more confidence than what he truly felt, and when her hand searched for his, he picked hers, holding tightly to it. He didn’t know what else to say or do, since it was his first time being there after all, but he decided all he had to do was follow suit.
--- Damien Donovan:
“Yes Ma’am” Damien said with a playful roll of his eyes as he poured them both a glass. “You came here for the crazy hot sex we could have, right?” he teased as he nudged her. Probably a mistake to keep bringing up his little mistake, but the woman was pretty…and admittedly he was still kind of horny. “What did I promise to get you over here again?” he teased.
“Sure, the hot sex.” Ellie retorted with a roll of her eyes, snatching the glass from his hands and taking down a gulp. She’d promised herself not to tease him about what she’d heard over the phone, but he just made it so easy for her. “I came over here because you said you missed me and wanted to hang out – even though you’d just gotten off by the thought of me, mind you.” She teased with a smirk. “That and the promise of alcohol.”
--- Danielle Valentine:
“I am an agent of the law, and I demand nothing but obedience from my prisoner.” Dani said seductively as she led the woman into the bedroom and shoved her down on the bed, “Spread you legs, I need to check you for weapons after all.”
“So I’m your prisoner now, hmm?” Violet still felt like teasing, but she was definitely turned on by Dani’s bossiness. It was arousing somehow, especially when she was so rough like that and threw her onto the bed, though she never made it easy for the other woman. She laid down promptly, propping herself up and resting her body weight on her elbows, eyes fixed on Dani. “Weapons, hm?” She teased but decided to follow through just this once, spreading her legs slowly and invitingly. “Please, go ahead officer. You never know where I might have hidden something.”
--- Brad Parker:
They had known and been friends with each other for so long now that she was almost like a sister to him. Whenever Brad had any problems he’d come to her and she’d help him solve it and he had plenty of happy and fun memories with her too. “You been single for a while now,” Brad told her. “You need to get some fun, babe.” Brad teased and fist-bumped her against her shoulder followed by a soft laugh. “There’s not a thing that I’d rather do than do yoga with you on a Friday night.” Brad said, although there was a slight sarcastic tone in his voice. When she gave him instructions Brad did as he was told, sitting up and crossing his legs as his eyes followed her movements opposite of him. “I’m not as flexible as you so you might want to go easy on me.” He said with a grin. “Maybe you can help me get rid of my stiffness.”
“I do have fun!” Claire argued back, though what she was doing could hardly be considered of any fun. Sometimes she wondered if the fact that she was so hung up on Brad had something to do with the fact that he was out of her reach now, something unattainable. She wondered if perhaps that was her sabotaging herself, after all, since her fiancé had left her only a few weeks prior their wedding, she’d hardly had anything that counted. A few dates here and there that led up to nothing, a couple of one night stands with fellow dancers who were too shallow and self-absorbed to want anything more. “You know that being easy on you is the last thing I’ll do.” Claire teased with a small smile, as she searched through her phone, then turned on a playlist of soft tones that she used when doing yoga. “This will definitely help. So long as you do what I tell you.” She promised, beginning with an easy pose for him to follow.
--- Alexander Miller:
✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・ 「 ♚ 」 PART OF ALEXANDER KNEW that he was merely doing this for his pride. But then, there was also something else, though he was having a hard time acknowledging it. Perhaps, there was an underlying feelings behind his actions. He had never been the kind who’d ever express himself. For him, his reticence served as his armor and weapon. For most of his life, he was used to acting like an asshole; he treated people for granted, and pushed them away, not letting any of them into his life. He hated vulnerability, he hated being weak. Despite her protests, he wasn’t deterred, his face devoid of any emotion. ❝Keep doing what? You didn’t seem to enjoy his company,❞ he retorted. ❝I think I just did you a favor.❞ Meeting her eyes, he shot her a pointed look. ❝Besides, we both know that no one could ever compare to me, and to what I can make you feel. And no, you don’t hate me.❞ He was confident that she didn’t. He may seemed like he didn’t care most of the time, but he could see through her.
Ellie scoffed at his response; how was he still doing this to her? How was he able to play it off as if he’d done nothing wrong? “It’s not up to you to decide whether it’s time for anyone to go or not.” She retorted, practically shouting, completely out of control. “You know what you make me feel, Alexander? You make me feel like shit. So you’re right, he can’t make me feel like you do. Because no one could ever make me feel as awful and worthless and hopeless as you do.” And though she’d been shouting just a second before, and feigning her hatred towards him, no truer words had been spoken that night than those; he made her feel worthless. With a quick glance around, Ellie realized that the two of them were completely alone now and she felt the urge to run and hide from him; it wasn’t like she felt afraid of him or what he could do, she was mostly afraid of herself and how he made her feel. However, she was trapped, with no way to go unless he let her.
--- Sam Carter:
:*゚:.。..。.:*・ 「 ♚ 」 WHEN KENNA HAD ACCEPTED his invitation, Sammuel only hoped for the best. He knew that, despite his constant assurance, she still had doubts about his feelings. And now, he was trying to make amends, making sure that he’d be able to convey how genuine his intentions were. ❝Right, right. Of course, the cute one wins by default,❞ he retorted, rolling his eyes playfully. He was glad that they weren’t being awkward, and perhaps there was his son to thank for that, though he could sense that she was nervous. ❝Oh yeah? Do you feel queasy or something? Should we ask for some antiemetics?❞ Extending his hand, he placed his palm against his forehead, checking her temperature. ❝Quite a long fight. It’s about 4-6 hours,❞ he told her. ❝Do you need anything?❞
Kenna let out a chuckle at his feigned defeat, turning her attention back to Coco. The brunette wasn’t his mother nor was she pretending to be, but somehow she couldn’t help worrying about that child, checking on him every now and then to make sure he was safe. “Just a little bit. But I’m okay, I don’t need any meds.” She assured him because, well, even if she was playing it off as fear of flying, that wasn’t exactly what was happening in her brain; she’d never been afraid of planes. But it was easier than tell him the real reason why she wasn’t wholeheartedly in this place at that moment. She was still trying to manage her expectations, but she couldn’t very well tell him that. “No.” Kenna shook her head in response, stealing a quick glance at Coco to see the child was far too busy with the screen in front of him to pay them any attention. Then she looked at Sam and tried to give him a reassuring smile. “I’m fine, I promise. I just can’t wait for us to land.”
--- Sam Carter:
✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・ 「 ♚ 」 THIS WAS STILL ALL so confusing for Sammuel. A few months ago, he had been so sure that he was in-love with his childhood best friend, Cassie. But Kenna came along, crept into his life, and made his feelings waver. He wasn’t sure about things anymore. But right now, he was certain that he wanted her, more than he ever did with anyone. Whatever it was that he had for her, it wasn’t like anything before —- this was intense and beyond his comprehension. Overwhelmed with the tumult of emotions, he didn’t speak, letting his body express what he wanted instead. He didn’t know what compelled him to do what he was doing now. There was a bit alcohol, but he was definitely sober, holding himself accountable for the decision of taking her. Hands continued to undo every article of her clothing, and once he succeeded its elimination, he dragged his fingers along her skin, pulling her closer, and reveling in the warmth her body provided.
For some reason, Kenna felt divided. She wasn’t the most experienced person when it came to these things – and the few experiences that she did have, didn’t go so well for her. That meant that part of her was afraid of what was happening; however, that part of her brain was quickly shut down by the part that was moved by the lust, all the longing and desire that she’d felt over the course of the past months for Sam. Briefly, she wondered if this is what he truly wanted or if he was simply letting himself be moved by desire – and if she was the object of his desire or if it was someone else. Perhaps she should stop this and ask him, ask if he was sure. Instead, those thoughts were quickly shut off and her brain was turned off the moment Sam’s fingers dragged along her skin, causing her lips to part and her eyes to close, back arched and body pressed against his. To hell with all of it. She wanted to be with him; later on she’d worry about the rest.
--- Andi Current:
✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・ 「 ♛ 」 A PLEASED GASP SLIPPED past Andi’s mouth. She allowed herself to get lost into the sea of pleasure and into him. The transition between gentleness and harshness of his thrusts brought her delight. He had told her that this was his way of getting her to sleep, but with her whole body set on fire, she might not be able to get that slumber. How could she? This was just too good. She’d willingly take sleepless nights just to have this. Her hands moved to grip his shoulders, nails buried against his flesh, and dragged along his back. Her walls greedily clenching against his girth — feeling abandoned each time he exited, and fulfilled each time he entered. With his fingers moving between her legs, and thumb pressing against her clit, her arousal heightened. Surely it wasn’t going to take long for her to reach the precipice. If he kept going, she would certainly cum.
A pleased groan exited his lips as Andi’s nails dug into his skin, causing his back to harsh and his thrusts to grow harder and faster. At this point, Logan wasn’t so sure that any of them would be able to fall back asleep; while he’d been deeply asleep before, he’d certainly had never felt as awake as he did now, and if Andi had had trouble sleeping before, then he doubted she could fall asleep now. They say that after the honeymoon phase of a new relationship, things would fall into a rhythm, they’d no longer feel as exciting or fulfilling. But Logan had known Andi for years now, they were long past the honeymoon phase, and he still craved her as deeply as he did when he first walked in on her – perhaps even more now. His thrusts were relentless now, chasing that high that he so desperately craved , while his fingers kept working expertly between her legs, hoping for her to achieve it as well.
--- Cassie Current:
「 ♛ 」 ✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・ CASSIE WAS FALLING HARD for Evan, and he wasn’t there to catch her. She was left with no choice but to move on and leave to move forward. In this moment, she’d finally made up her mind. Even with the alcohol in her system, and intoxicating her thoughts, she was going to stick by her decision. Perhaps, this was life’s way of teaching her a lesson, and she was going to take it — even if it stung, even if it pained her. She heaved out a beleaguered sigh, and let him dry her hair. Once he was done, she answered the question he’d posed, looking up at him. ❝You may not believe me, but I love you,❞ she said, smiling vaguely at him, eyes gleaming with sorrow. ❝I just—I want you to pretend that you love me.❞ Standing up, she extended her hands to cup either side of his face. ❝Don’t reject me,❞ she pleaded, ❝just for tonight.❞ This was her last shot, her last chance, her last night to be with him. She made a discreet promise that she wouldn’t bother him anymore after. She didn’t even care if she sounded desperate and pathetic.
A heavy sigh fell past Evan’s lips; it wasn’t such an easy thing to believe in, hell what even was there for Cassie to love about him? He was well aware of his flaws, of the lack of anything worth loving in him; her own father had made sure that he knew just how below them he was. Evan didn’t share their same status; hell, he was just a toy in Cassie’s hand, one who, for once, had told her no, and that was the only reason she was so adamant on expressing her feelings in hopes that he’d return them. What she didn’t know was that rejecting her didn’t come easy for Evan, he simply didn’t have any other choice. “What---" Evan was certainly confused by her request. “Cassie.” Reaching over, he let his fingers curl around her wrists, gently so. How could he reason with her in a way that she would understand, and what was she trying to accomplish with this? “Cass, you’re drunk. Let me just take care of you tonight, alright?” There. That was safe enough to say, right?
“There’s a brief moment when you first wake up where you have no memories, a blissful blank slate, a happy emptiness, but it doesn’t last long and you remember exactly where you are and what you are trying to forget.”
— Carrie Bradshaw, The Carrie Diaries (via hplyrikz)
--- Tripp Moretti:
✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・ 「 ♚ 」 TRIPP DETECTED THE INNUENDO in her voice, and boy, it was doing things to him. He was reminded of their blissful days together, the nights they’d spent, the mornings they’d waken up next to each other. He knew that he couldn’t just look at her as a mere tattoo artist. Harlow’s role in his life was too enormous, and during her absence, it had left an enormous gaping hole. Even up to now, things were still the same, and not a single thing had changed, except they were both older, and more mature. Aside from that, she was still as beautiful as ever, ever so gorgeous and stellar.
His visit here had been done out of impulse. He tried to see how he’d feel around her, whether he’d still be affected or not, but he finally knew now. She still had the same effect on him. She still moved him the same way. She still made his heart beat erratically. If someone knew that a man of his caliber was capable of having such sentiments, all because of a woman, it’d be a joke. Distracted by his thoughts, he was numbed, almost forgetting about that new ink etched on his skin. Once she declared that it was all done, dread settled over him. He didn’t want to leave yet. He didn’t want to be away from her. A strange longing swelled in his chest, and tugged at his heartstrings. He wasn’t used to feeling this way. Having the ruthless Tripp Moretti vulnerable would be a reward to the enemies. If they had known, they would start a feast. The pain dawned on him, the sting of the needle —- or did it come from the sting of the thought that he’d leave her? When she spoke, told him about her deceased father, he took it as sign that he wanted her to stay. He shifted and turned to look at her. ❝D–do you want me to stay?❞ he asked, uncharacteristically displaying uncertainty, the confident Tripp Moretti finally wavering ( and it was all thanks to this woman ). He stood up, extended his hand, and cupped her face, looking her in the eye intently.
Reaching over to the table, Harlow placed down her instruments and took off her gloves, her face turned away just briefly, keeping her eyes from falling on him. She didn’t know whether or not those news would have any impact on him – if it would change anything. Probably not, she decided. But still, he was owed some explanation, he was owed that, he deserved to know that no danger would befall on him, at least not when it came to her and her family. The threat that loomed over them for years, that had kept them apart for so long, was no longer a threat. Her father was dead, as was the promise that anyone who would interfere with the family business and the family itself would suffer a horrible fate.
The blonde had no illusions – this dance between the two had started over 10 years ago, and during that time, they’d left each other countless times, and they’d also come back to each other’s arms countless more. Last time had been a goodbye, so much so that Harlow left without a trace and for once, Tripp hadn’t tracked her down. When she left him that day, it was with a promise that it had been the last time that they’d ever say goodbye. But here he was now, in her chair, having let her work on his skin like she would in a canvas. The least he deserved was the truth – and it wasn’t even a desperate attempt to get him to stay this time, she realized. Even if she wanted to keep him around for just a little longer. Then Tripp was reaching over, and the warmth of his skin was hitting hers, comforting her. Her heart swelled, growing three times bigger, but she told it to stay still. How could he even ask her that, wasn’t it clear by now? “Yes.” She retorted, voice soft, steely blue eyes bored into his. “I want you to stay.”
