#it makes me sad every time #they should be comfortable being sweaty and ugly and disgusting and to just exist without performing femininity #i’ll get off my soap box in a second but i sometimes feel like the performance of femininity is so deeply ingrained in women’s sports #because sports are seen as inherently masculine so women feel like they have to somehow justify their femininity #which of course leads into the whole trans women in sports discourse #anyway getting off the soap box now but be warned i may get back on
