“After being lied to and left by other romances in DAI it was nice to have a romance option who doesn't lie to or betray you. I also really like how you can decline his marriage proposal in Tresspasser and it doesn't ruin the relationship. I also like how his romance isn't perfect - despite looking like a stereotypical princely romance from afar. There is angst but he doesn't ask you to fix him, he fixes himself. He is haunted but he never takes that out on anyone except himself. If you break up with him he doesn't beg or blame you. I don't think his romance is boring. It's stable and predictable which equals safe to me. You know exactly what you are getting from his romance and it's nice that he has a happy ending.”

You can support him, but the game treats the lyrium decision as his responsibility, and he doesn’t use the relationship as an excuse to spiral. Even if you break up with him, he doesn’t get cruel or guilt-trippy; it’s sad, but respectful.”

Cullen is the better romance purely because of game mechanics. You can go and talk to them, though it is repetitive. You can't do the same in Veilguard. If I could, I would have definitely voted for my video game spouse Taash.

1. origin of your username: In 2020 I said I was going to become a gaming content creator if I was able to get my hands on an Xbox Series X. I got it and I was going to be "The Most Boring Gamer on Earth" because I play video games on the easiest level available. I settled on The Tame Gamer instead and decided to not become a content creator because I enjoy playing games when I feel like it.
