Can we talked about how much Cyrus has grown as a character? 

During season 1, Cyrus was completely terrified of upsetting Jonah in any way. But during season 2 even when Jonah was being (uncharacteristically) snappy, Cyrus didn’t even flinch at his attitude.

But the best moment, was definitely during the basketball scene. Cyrus used to find TJ intimidating, but in this scene, despite TJ attempts to push him away, cyrus stands his ground.

“I’m not here as a punching bag, I’m here to see if you are okay” Is without a doubt my favorite Cyrus quote.

It means: “I care about you, but that doesn’t mean that you get to treat me however you like” and man, if that is not beautiful character development I don't know what it is.
