What did you do today?
LGBTQ Rights Activist: I helped collect money for a charity to help build Gay and Trans* friendly homeless shelters.
Human Rights Activist: I helped pass out pamphlets informing people of what they can do to help stand against human trafficking in foreign countries.
Citizen: I called the police and reported domestic violence in the apartment next to mine. An abusive husband went to jail, and the wife is recieving medical attention.
Tumblr SJ Blogger: I posted 50 "misandry" gifs and told a cishet white dude to kill himself!

Bob Costas to return to NBC’s Olympic coverage on Monday night
USA TODAY: NBC confirms Bob Costas will return to primetime Olympic coverage after being off the air due to an eye infection.
Costas first revealed his eye troubles during the opening night of Olympic coverage on Thurs., Feb. 6. He hosted five nights for NBC before the infection spread to both eyes and rendered him unable to perform his hosting duties.
When Matt Lauer took over on Tuesday night, it was the first time anyone but Costas had helmed an Olympic primetime telecast on any American network since 1998. Costas had been at the NBC chair for every night of Olympic coverage since 1988.

After a brief hiatus aka forgetting my password and not caring about tumblr anymore, I decided to give tumblr one more try. A lot has happened since I was gone, should be fun.

My final Secret Santa gift arrived! It's a National Geographic from the year and month I was born, which is pretty awesome.
Tuesday 10 December 2013: Day 263
I'm done! I just have grading and a paper to look over and then my first semester of grade school is done! Very shaky start but I understand what needs to be done now.
Monday 9 December 2013: Day 262
Finished my paper! Took me until 5:30 in the morning but I managed to finish it all. One more day until I'm done with my first semester of grad school and then I'm free!
Sunday 8 December 2013: Day 261
Procrastinating on writing my paper and the office has its own mini Christmas tree.
Saturday 7 December 2013: Day 260
Got a few of my papers done and will finish the majority of my paper tomorrow. I finish Tuesday and I can't wait.
Friday 6 December 2013: Day 259
Found out who my secret Santa was and he got me a National Geographic photograph book which was pretty cool. Took this while I was getting things for my secret santa person.
Thursday 5 December 2013: Day 258
Headed out to grab dinner and saw this displayed on a building. This weekend I will be doing plenty of final papers, we'll see how this goes.
Wednesday 4 December 2013: Day 257
Secret Santa part two, really curious as to who it is, but I'll see on Friday. I finished one class and two classes to go before being done with my first semester of grad school. Very bumpy ride but I think I know now what is expected of me so I don't make the same mistakes again.
