Having been born into a living tradition, it's just never been a thing for me. Before, it never even occurred to me that deities would reach out to humans and ask to be worshipped. Because why would they feel the need to? They would have no reason to recruit followers. They would never lack followers. They're divine. Humans have always worshipped them, and always will.
Like, we simply worship the gods that have always been worshipped, and honor the divine beings that have always been honored in our native religions. We pick our favorites and keep up with the traditions. We choose the divine to follow, the divine exist and get followed, like they always have been.

listen, if you believe Glass Onion's message of bashing super rich people is a form of "self"-critique, then you clearly don't understand who the 1% are.
When Rian Johnson calls out fake Elon Musk in his fun detective movie, this is not an attempt at "self-deprecating humor". Rian Johnson is "I own nice houses"-rich, he is not "I control nations, wars, economies, and the livelihoods of millions"-rich like Elon Musk is.
Rian Johnson is closer in his wealth to you than he is to Elon Musk, by far.
I am all for holding rich people accountable, I support calling out the Hollywood industry. But we *need* to learn to tell billionaires and millionaires apart, or our criticism of the political system will be fraught.

Now look back up, and remember that the average person doesn't even make a fraction of a single grain.
Rian Johnson is quite wealthy, but the most generous estimations of his net worth don't even place him at a quarter of the third pile. To put a someone like Rian Johnson in the same category of wealth as Musk, Bezos, Gates et al, is like putting a public pool in the same category as the Pacific Ocean. Both have more water than your bathtub, but they are absolutely not the same.
People need to stop woobifying Faith and start wetratifying Faith. This girl is horrible and slimy and we need to start appreciating that.
