Check.  Alkrenon did things to Cadence that she didn't even know could happen, and it took her a long time to realize that it involved her sexuality.  Bastard still knows how to get a rise out of her.✦✦✦✦✦✧✧✧✧✧ | Romantic Attraction - Too bad he's kind of a jerk. Sure, they had some tender moments, but more often than not, his ego - and his paranoia - clashed with Cade's, and they fought. A lot. He takes very good care of himself, and he's quite a handsome devil - of course half the problem is that he knows it. Cade used to help him with his hooves, and probably enjoyed toying with his hair and facial tendrils when they were together.✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✧✧ | Aesthetic Attraction - There's something to be said for how awesome Draenei look, man. Especially to a human, to whom the most alien thing before the Draenei came along were probably the naga, or night elves.

Invasive question! Exactly how did a felcasting warlock befriend a devout Light-wielding paladin (also known as Miss Cadence Greystone)?

Natharai shifted around in his seat, seeming quite uncomfortable as he did his damnedest to play it off as contemplative silence. He supposed it was only a matter of time until he would be cornered into answering this, being that their acquaintance, much less their friendship, was very much strange.

The warlock slowly sighed through his nose before lifting up his teacup to his lips, taking a bracing sip of earl grey – wetting his suddenly bone-dry mouth and buying him another precious second more.

"…Cadence and I did not come into our relationship in the happiest of ways, I am afraid. She, ah, came to be under the same employ as myself since her brother owed a rather sizable debt – one that he could not pay and one that my then employers were very keen on taking out of his hide if he was not smart about it." He took another sip, this one slightly more hastily as he let his nervousness show through a bit more. ‘Employers’ hm? Surely the doctor could do the math on this unfortunate arrangement, as there are only so many people out there who would resort to physical violence for an unpaid debt.

"So… she volunteered to take his place and become a sort of indentured worker. She had more, ah, marketable skills than her brother did and, unlike him, was made of stronger stuff." Natharai vaguely handwaved before dragging that same hand briefly down the lower portion of his face.

"I was her overseer, to put it simply, though us underlings did not much care for the circumstances. She was an innocent in this, the lot of us made our own bad choices and paid for them. Despite the circumstances, I, and many other fellow co-workers, did our best to make sure it was painless as possible." Natharai scoffed bitterly as he shook his head, his eyes focused on the teacup as he continued on with a quiet mutter. "And believe me there were many unsavory options for her…"

"Oh, she hated me for a long time: My position and my, ah, magical calling not doing me any favors. But… one day we ran into each other off-duty in a small library and got to talking. I would like to think that as of that day, we saw each other a little more clearly. I was not simply a villain and she was not just a stodgy battle axe of a woman. We have been friends ever since…"

While the Argent cause remains primarily in Azeroth, a few of us have come to lend aid here beyond the portal. While our homeworld is safe for now, we can't risk the Burning Legion gaining the advantage here.

That's where you come in, soldier.

I need you to infiltrate Socrethar's Rise to the south. Their initiates carry amulets that allow them to summon their demons more easily. Collect them, and destroy them. We're going for the ankles, here. Forget the knees. <The Crusader offers you a salute before turning away to continue her business.>

Objective: Collect 15 <Initiate Amulets> from Sargeri Initiates and destroy them.

You receive: Argent Purse [Chance to contain Gold, Health Potions, and Apexis Crystals, and a rare pet. 

Crusader <Beast Type> A small white cat with felt armor made to resemble plate-mail. This kitty has claws.

Reward:  20g 14s; 30 Garrison Resources

Or maybe they’re a rare spawn to be farmed for a silly mount for eternity? If so, what abilities do they have?

A rather standard tank n' spank with a few abilities peppered in. She'll drop consecrate and must be kited out of it to avoid AOE damage. Cadence will randomly target members of the raid periodically to Judge. The target must position themselves in such a way that her Judgement spell does not hit anyone else on the way to them, or its damage is increased. At 50%, she'll shield herself. Players must stop attacking entirely; all damage done to the shield will convert to healing on Cadence. After the shield wears off, however, she takes 50% more damage. Burn phase. Drops: [Crusader's Claymore], a level 100 Str/Crit two-handed sword. Flavor text: "Worn, but still strong." [Greystone's Crest], a level 100 tanking shield. "A heavy burden to bear." [Argent Pendant], a level 100 necklace. Crit/haste. "A beautiful pendant bearing the crest of the Crusade. Sadly, it's been damaged." [White Charger]  A white stallion mount with grey peppering on the flank. [Silver Ring], gray vendor trash, flavor text: "Xee ashje ake."

1. What is your OC’s orientation?  Very solidly heterosexual.

2. Has your OC ever been in love? Yes.

3. How many relationships has your OC been in? Approximately three. One very short relationship, one longer (more heartbreaking) relationship, and one very new relationship.

4. How did your OC handle the break-up(s) if any? The first was more guilt-ridden than anything. The second was much harder, and she's still confused about it despite - again - being the one who pushed the button. She mostly trains or gets into fights to distract herself.

5. Why did the break-up happen? (Skip if none) With Dorien, she cited that it wasn't safe for them to be together due to their shared involvement with the criminal Kamil te Kar; though most of it was due to her own insecurities and fear of being intimate with anyone.

With Alkrenon, in many ways she feels too much that his ultimate goal is control over her, even if his intentions are good. There was a lot of passion there, but there were also too many fights to count. It was a very volatile relationship and she's still confused about it, but felt it was best for both of them to separate.

6. Does your OC become easily attached? Not really. Cadence is pretty reserved and it took her closest friends years to see her without walls up.

7. What does it take for your OC to be attracted to someone? Strength, resolve, and confidence.

8. Is your OC monogamous or polygamous? Monogamous.

9. Who was your OC’s first love, if any? THE LIGHT~~*~*``8

10. Who was your OC’s last love, if any? Alkrenon.

Involved.

14. What are traits your OC finds desirable? Someone strong enough to care for themselves, who is as independent as she is so she won't feel smothered. A healthy love of the outdoors, as well as learning, is always a plus. 

15. What are traits that turn off your OC? Clingy/co-dependent, arrogant, a know-it-all. Sometimes, unfortunately, people who are just -too happy- get on her nerves as well.

16. How does your OC show affection? She recently began showing it more than she ever has in the past. In words, she'll tease or joke with people - if she challenges you at all without malice, she's probably being affectionate. Physically, she'll offer shoulder-hugs, and with those she's closer to she tends to touch their hair or jaw.

17. How would your OC confess their feelings? A letter, probably, unless she was pinned down in conversation to say it. Often with a red-face, in the latter situation.

18. Does your OC hope to get married? Maybe.

19. What was your OC’s longest relationship, if any? A few years, on and off, with Alkrenon.

20. Would your OC cheat? It honestly depends. She'd have to be really caught up in a frenzy or compromised (drugs, booze) for it to happen.

21. How would your OC react to being cheated on? By turning into the Maiden of Grief. Hurt, and very, very angry.

22. How would your OC react to being caught cheating, if they would? She'd be horrified. She'd probably exile herself.

If Your Character Was A Garrison Follower?

We’re a week into WoD and I know we’re all digging the expansion. I think a lot of people are really digging garrisons right now and sending out our followers on missions and all of that.

But… what if your character wasn’t in charge? What if your character was a follower instead? What would their abilities and traits be? Maybe some flavor text to go along with it? 

Of course, you don’t have to stick with the abilities and traits provided by Blizzard. Come up with your own if you’d like! 

You can treat your character as an uncommon, rare, or epic quality follower! The template is included below, using one of my followers as an example.
