My Uncle Bruce was in a motorcycle accident yesterday. He doesn't ever wear a helmet. He is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma. He has a broken clavicle, broken and cracked ribs, and the worst of it is his head. He has 3 clots in his brain and he has severe intracranial bleeding (bleeding deep within the brain) causing increased pressure on his brain. The doctors are trying to reduce the swelling and pressure but we have no way of knowing just how bad the brain damage is yet.

Please, for the love of all that is sacred and holy, at the very least, wear a helmet whenever you are driving or riding on a motorcycle. I might lose one of the most important people in my life due to his stubbornness. I don’t want the same thing to happen to any of you or your family and friends.
