Haha, oh man.

The cat thing is such a classic.

Sometimes being a superhero means rescuing people, sometimes it means fights.

Today it means finding a group of kids and spraying water everywhere so they can have fun and cool down.

I can imagine... Ours was at least mostly keeping to the Sargasso Sea and assorted sea monsterly activities, haha...! It led an assault by the Deep Ones on the island we were stationed on out there. Ours was a lesser facet of the Dreamer out there, like the one big fish.

We managed somehow. I'm only sorry I couldn't be there to see you kick its ass.

Hah! Sometimes, things are better as stories than having been there.

Ours is... a little harder to describe. He could shapeshift, but at first we thought he was some sort of dragon. Later he was more squid-like, but I'm not sure if that was all him or from Vilgax's influence (whole other story in there). He also could get into people's heads. He had this creature as a herald, too, that could also do it. Seeing it get to my cousin like that, that was a lot. But we found out most kinds of metal could block it. Who knew there was a legitimate use for those tinfoil hats? Haha!

Yeah. It's been... Wow, 11 years now, about, since he was threatening my world. It was a rough time. They had him locked up in... I can't remember if it was a separate dimension or a space between dimensions, and I'm also not sure there's a big difference there. It's crazy to hear about him from a universe that's so different from mine.

But hey, we both did it, right? Shows them for underestimating some "little mortals," haha!

Yeah I've seen a couple situations like this before. Not, like, exactly, but you know, someone trained to be violent one way and they can't actually go through with it when push comes to shove. Sometimes reframing it works out better for 'em. And hey who doesn't like spinning an enemy into an ally!

If he sucks at being a bodyguard you can always pair him up with a gardener or something. I just figure that it would line up with his training okay enough, and having other guards to work with could help with like a feeling of comradery!
