You know what I never see on Tumblr? Encouraging or supportive posts about people with trichotillomania and/or dermotillomania. I never see those posts because you can’t romanticize it, people don’t see it as beautiful and therefore don’t want to talk about it. It’s really fucking hard having a disorder that is so painfully obvious to anyone who looks and so hard to understand, so shout out to my buds with trich and/or derm, you are still beautiful and worthy of love

possibly my favourite stim is spinning things, and beads are perfect for making cheap, easy spinny toys! they are also very nice and smooth and great for running your fingers over. if you like bumpy textures there are lot of wonderful glass beads that offer that! i’ve got a bunch of tutorials for you guys and links to some beads, too!

Hey, just shouting awareness out there, DON’T watch that upcoming Netflix show, Atypical, turns out Autism Speaks funded it and gave advice, if you don’t know, Autism Speaks is notoriously evil and likes to spread the word of autism being a burden on family’s, so this “advice” is probably filled with bullshit! (And after the shitshow of 13RW, I’m not exactly keen on them touching autism y'know?)

There’s better stuff on Netflix, Voltron Season 3 is this Friday and Defenders is out 2 weeks after that, basically just like.. don’t watch Atypical!
