DuckTales Halloween Headcanons
-Huey, Dewey and Louie didnāt go out for Halloween until they were five, when they first started school. Colouring pictures of jack-o-lanterns and ghosts and hearing their classmates talk about Halloween made them want to go trick-or-treating too
-Donald knew it was inevitable, and he tried to coax them into wanting to stay at home with promises of cookies, games and movies. But the boys were insistent and tearful. Donald hated Halloween with a passionāas far as he was concerned, it was a night meant for trouble, where teens went around pulling pranks and bullies taunted kids for their stash of candy. He wanted to keep them safe at home, but he knew that wouldnāt make them happy, and their happiness was of the utmost importance to him
-Huey, Dewey and Louie look adorable in their costumes. Itās their first Halloween and Donald is going to make the most of it. He dresses them up as the three little pigs, and he goes as the big bad wolf. He takes about a thousand pictures
-He goes up to every door with the boys, instructs them not to eat any candy until heās checked every piece over, and he takes them to a neighbourhood thatās about ten minutes away from their houseboat and they donāt go any further
-The triplets are older and of course they want to start going trick-or-treating on their own. But Donald refuses, insisting he needs to go with them and Halloween night isnāt safe for kids to be alone. The year that they move in with Scrooge, the triplets plot ways to convince Donald to let him have their first independent Halloween
-They are horrified to learn that Webby has never gone out on Halloween, and are determined to give her the best first Halloween ever. Louie comes up with an idea. Donald was always a sucker for themed costumes, which they havenāt done for a few years now. They create matching costumes in the hopes of swaying Donald and Beakley. Webby is the Queen of Hearts, Louie is the King of Diamonds, Dewey is the King of Clubs and Huey is the Jack of Spades
-They plead with Donald and Bleakley to let them go out for Halloween by themselves. They promise to look after Webby (which Beakley never doubted) and Louie vows theyāll behave (which Donald doubts). It takes a lot of convincing (and some dramatic displays by Dewey) to let Donald relent. He and Beakley agree, with a few conditions. They have to be home by eight, they canāt eat any candy on the way, they have to text their whereabouts every half-hour and they canāt stray more than twenty minutes away from the mansion
-Webby has a blast. She compliments every costume she sees and doesnāt stop running. She screams trick-or-treat at the top of her lungs and tries to have a conversation with every house owner until sheās dragged away by the triplets. Huey dutiful texts his uncle and Beakley every half-hour. Louie eats about fifteen percent of his candy haul on the way from house to house. Dewey gives his siblings several bruises with his scepter
-Webby runs into a group of bullies and they try to make her pay with candy if she wants to get by. Webby is initially confused, because sheās never heard of a candy toll before, and the triplets hurry to her side. Louie demands they back off, and his brothers spring into action when one bully shoves him. When they start fighting Webby quickly defends the triplets, scaring the bullies off and causing them to drop their candy. Now with twice the Halloween haul, the kids decide to call it a night and head home, wanting to see how much candy they can binge and if they can get away with watching a scary movie
-Donald has an app on his phone that allows him to see where his boys are at anytime by tracking their location through their phones with his. He goes to check on them and sees the whole incident with the bullies. Heās about to step in to defend Webby when his boys beat him to it, and he gets angry when the punks start pushing around his kids. But Webby swiftly takes care of them, and Donald is reminded that the kids can take care of themselves. As many fears and anxieties as Donald has, he knows he canāt always protect them, and they donāt always need him
-Or at least thatās what he thinks until the next morning, when the boys are sick to their stomach from eating too much candy and crying for him to comfort and soothe them. Donald shakes his head, chides them, wraps them up in blankets, makes them soup and gives them ginger ale, and hides the candy so he can give it out in moderation
Donald duck hc #3
Temperament had always been a problem for donald ever sinces he was a child, his temperament had always been hard to contron.
In 1 day he could do as many enemies as he wished, one word and this hipocrite world of his would do the rest of the work for him.
He didnt really wish this to happen but sadly it always did, like how it started to be with his nephews, when he had to go buy food ppl talked around him like if he was deaf.
When he had to go to the school to see what happen with one of his boys ppl talked like if they knew him or his kids (or della).
His temperament was only controlled when his boys were around and when they didnt he could explode w/o telling
ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ
Also, just wanted to express how i feel trough donad, i'm not totally like him but just kinda and when i explode and just say a word the whole word is agains me, dont i have freedom of speech as well? It seems like i dont . . .

Della Stands at the Doorway
At every doorway.Ā
Each and every single doorway.Ā
She stands in them, and she leans against the frame, and she watches what goes on past the threshold but never goes far enough to cross it herself.Ā
Three days after her return, sheāll watch Donald kiss the boys goodnight. Louie mumbles that heās too old, but complains when heās missed, and Donald has to turn round to press one against the crown of his head. Della watches when Donaldās face relaxes into quiet affection.Ā
He knew Louie would say no. He knew Louie would regret. He knew all three of his boys would wrap their arms round him and whisper goodnights.Ā
Della leans on the doorway a week later, watching Donald pack lunches, listening to Scrooge ramble on about finances. Huey needed a set number of calories, and so heād added an extra chia seed pudding (which no one but the smallest enjoyed) before slipping the bag of vitamins into the bottom. She watched him write notes -have a good day, youāll do great, keepĀ it up, Love you- Ā and drop them on top.Ā
Itāll be a month in when sheāll lean on the doorway of the library and peek through. Donald is yelling at Gladstone. Screaming. Fuming. Dewey is nursing a bump on his head, his uncleās arm round him. A dragon, protecting its hoard. You put my child in danger again-
Della leans on the doorway and hears them call him Uncle Donald.Ā
She also leans on another one, pressing her back to oak, her ear to the same, and hearing the way Donald sighs deep, chokes back frustration, and saysĀ āmy kids are going to be the death of meā with so much affection it overwhelms her.Ā
Sheās leaning on a door when he calls them his.Ā
Sheāll be just outside the dining room when Drake Mallard arrives with his child. When they talk over coffee about the ups and the downs and the times you want to pull your feathers out and give it all up for a golf club and a bachelor pad, and how absolutely ridiculous that actually is, because really, you wouldnāt give them up for anything.Ā
The Single Dadās Support Group doesnāt notice her. Or invite her in. Not that she made herself easy to see. She hovers and listens and thinks through the little ways that they know each and every one of their childās quirks. The duck named Drake has one child, and he lists all her favorite foods while Donald laughs about how Huey canāt stand fish, but Louie lives off canned tuna and canned fruit and canned everything.Ā
They know it all.Ā
So she stands at the doorway, and hopes to listen. Hopes that soon sheāll join them, and pick up where she left off.Ā
Something tells her she wonāt.Ā
Della stands at every doorway. Thereās an adventure on her side, anyway. The kind that drew her away the first time. The kind that, maybe, sort of, kind of keeps her from moving forward now.Ā
Donald never got the option of running. He was pushed into what he has, without an idea or preparation. There wasnāt an escape route or a map offered.Ā He didnāt ask for one. And he still wouldnāt ask for one, now.Ā
Della was given the key out. And she took it. And she used it. And now- now she stands at every doorway and looks through.Ā Sheāll stand at the doorway and wish she could cross it, into her childrenās lives. Well⦠not really hers, anymore. They havenāt been.Ā
Not in a long time.Ā
I just founf my old german donald comics and found this, also louie loving animals is my new hc ā”
