Hi! Do you have any avalance multi-chapter fic recs? Thanks
Hi! I don't know if this is referring to my own fics or in general, but I'm going to do a bit of shameless self-promotion (if this was in general, please send another ask and I'll try to suggest some fics from other authors!). Hope you find something that you can enjoy!

(to be updated, maybe; you can suggest fics to add in the comments, for now I tried to pick different genres/tropes/settings to provide a little variety)
how to lose a woman in ten dates (completed, 13 chapters, 46k words, Comedy/Humor with a tiny bit of conflit)
She's ready to sneak past them, maybe give her a subtle thumbs up, when Sara says to the girl: “I'm actually here with someone.” Ava can only assume it was said to get rid of a woman Sara isn't interested in, but it gives her what is probably both the best idea she's ever had in her entire life according to her drunk self, and the absolutely worst idea anyone has ever had, ever, in the history of ideas, according to her sober self upon recollection of the events. “I've just had an amazing idea,” is what she says to Sara, stumbling into her seat as the girl eyes her oddly before leaving. “I should totally just date you.” Or, Ava's friends think she should date casually, Sara's friends think she should date seriously, so obviously going on five to ten dates with each other has to shut them all up for good. What could possibly go wrong? (Or, just another fake dating AU)
I was very big on fake dating for a while, hands down favorite trope, so I tried it with avalance, if that's your cup of tea you might want to read this one
all the lives I've ever lived (they were leading me here) (completed, 15 chapters, 64k words, Adventure with a little bit of angst*)
There is a universe – Sara doesn't know for sure, but there has to be, somewhere, somewhen, a world where they're together, safe and sound. Where they wake up everyday wrapped up in each other and they never go to sleep mad. Where life's easy and they're happy. She can feel it sometimes, deep in her chest, in those moments Ava hugs her tight and soft and she can finally breathe, that there's a universe where she never has to hold her breath. This one? This just so happens to be the opposite of it. OR, Sara touches an artifact without knowing what it is and she thinks she screwed up the timeline yet again. As it turns out, she might have stumbled upon a portal that will lead her to a journey through the multiverse.
So, favorite trope of mine for a long time was soulmates and this was kind of that: Sara travels through the multiverse, navigating all the types of relationships her alter-egos have with Ava, discovering they're somewhat involved in every timeline, in every universe
*the angst isn't conflict between them but due to the distance, by the way
when hell breaks loose (don't leave me sowing buttons) (completed, 15 chapters, 57k words, Adventure, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Demon-Ava-AU)
“You insist I was marked by something. It had you terrified tonight. What was it? What is it that marked me?” Ava uses her index to trace a line from the hollow of her throat up to her chin, and makes her raise it slightly. Sara swallows, but doesn't move away. Ava bows her head slightly, and Sara feels her breathe in slowly. Ava's nose brushes against the underline of her jaw and Sara closes her eyes, feels the fear clawing at her heart that this might be it, this might be the last time she gets to be this close to Ava. “Me. You've been marked by me.” Or, the one where Ava's a demon working for Darhk, and Sara's a vigilante working with team Arrow to... well, take Darhk down.
If you like angst in a supernatural setting this might be the right pick for you, there is obviously a lot of conflict about Ava being a Demon and Sara being a Vigilante, but most of the story is about them working together and being in love, there is a lot of Hurt/Comfort and Fluff in here, too
love like fools (completed, 8 chapters, 54k words, Fluff and Romance, Family)
This story, is a love story. Kind of. It's just not an "in love" story. Well, at least not right away. Or, Ava reconnects with Sara, a childhood friend she hasn't seen in years, and finds out Sara's dropped out of college and has a child: Jason. They don't get along very well at first, but Jason and Ava adore each other, so Sara endures her presence. Only for Jason's sake, of course.
Romance. Fluff, fluff, fluff. They reconnect, they fall in love, they stay in love. There is, like, half a chapter of angst but it doesn't stick. Basically them falling in love and Ava learning to be a mother to Sara's kid. (Warning: do not read this if Oliver being a jerk isn't your thing, he's a little OOC but mostly just picture flashbacks-Oliver from when he was 23, he's that kind of entitled in here, if that is a pet peeve steer clear from this one)
in the river I will find you (completed, 6 chapters, 30k words, Time Displacement AU*, Self-Discovery, Fluff, Angst, Smut)
Ava Sharpe dies on August 10th, 1891, at the age of thirty-eight. There would be nothing out of the ordinary about that, if not for the fact Ava Sharpe is not born in 1853. In fact, Ava Sharpe is not even born Ava Sharpe. (Or: this is not a story about how Ava dies; this is a story about how Ava gets to live.)
A story that explores what it means to be a clone in a way the show didn't. *By Time Displacement AU I mean that they live their love story on different timelines, when Ava is brought to life and has to learn to be human, Sara has already been in love with her for years, and after Ava falls in love with her in the present she gets displaced in Sara's past (Doctor Who Doctor/River vibes, if you're familiar). I feel like people got discouraged because of the summary but who knows my writing knows all my stories have a happy ending, that is not a thing I'm ashamed of spoiling!
