It is important that your inner circle is made of healthy relationships rather than toxic ones. Toxic people tend to drain energy especially if you are an empath. Make sure you are surrounded by people that bring out joy out of you, that make you feel better about yourself. Relationship in which it feels like you are constantly walking on eggshells is not healthy one. Friends or partners who put you down, do not care about your needs and feelings should not be in your life. If a relationship leaves you wondering if you deserve better, you probably do. Be your best friend and choose not to be mistreated. You are beautiful soul and deserve to be treated that way.
Self-discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want the most. Be strong enough to make a choice that will improve your future. You don’t have to be perfect, you just need to try and be better for yourself. Being consistent and working on your self-discipline is the key to that success.
Most of us are guilty of being our own worst and toughest critics. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of constantly criticizing ourselves, always putting ourselves down with negative self-talk, and always beating ourselves up for every little mistake. Remind yourself that you deserve love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Learn to be gentle with yourself. Stop beating yourself up, instead, learn to cheer yourself on and lift yourself up every time you fall. You too deserve love you are giving to others.

If you want to live an authentic, meaningful life, you need to master the art of disappointing and upsetting others, hurting feelings, and living with the reality that some people just won’t like you. It may not be easy, but it’s essential if you want your life to reflect your deepest desires, values, and needs.
