Remus can find the perfect angle and use complex trigonometric equations to launch a rocket in the sky so that it can explode and the metal pieces hits Roman but can't tell you what 7x8 is without using his fingers.

Remus has somewhat moved in with Siren and his crew, though no one is sure where he sleeps. He’s up before anyone else in the morning, and tends to disappear when it starts to come to bedtime.
There is a betting pool on where he sleeps. The most popular choice is upside down like a bat in the local church.

There’s not enough room for them to stay hidden in the ceiling, so Remus and Siren venture out into the room. On the floor between them stands a label-free bottle of wine while they each hold a simple bronze goblet. Remus had pulled them all from his belt pouch, a strange sense of relief washing over Siren as he sees them.
Apparently there is some sort of enchantment on the pouch to make it bigger on the inside. Among the items Remus claims to have in there are; a longsword, several poisons of varying deadliness depending on how much he wants his mark to suffer, a bear, three harps, and a merman in a fish tank. Siren doesn’t believe him of course. He’s not that drunk yet. He does however have a pretty decent buzz going, on his third -or was it fourth- drink while Remus is still nursing his second.
To begin with Remus chose not to push the elephant in the room, instead opting to ask a few simple questions about the singer. What did he do? What were his plans? What kind of music does he play? After all, their entire interactions thus far have been, Remus trying to kill him, Remus seeing him in the hospital, and then Remus shoving Yancy and Siren’s unconscious body into the back of the car they liberated from that oh-so-kind gentleman who Remus absolutely did not threaten to split from head to scrote if he didn’t give it up.
Eventually though, he asks what it is the blind man said, and Siren tells him.
“I don’t understand.” Remus is stretched out on his side, one leg bent, while he leans on his hand. His goblet is on the floor near his chest, still half-full. “What are you afraid of?”
“I have a good life you know.” Siren is sat up, his legs crossed and looking very sorry for himself. There’s the slight looseness to his words, not quite a slur, but definitely not stone-cold sober. “I sing.” he raises his goblet to one side then to the other. “And I travel.” Back to the first side. “And I sing.” Back to the other. “And I travel. It’s a good life and I love it. But if I listen to that,” he waves his free hand in front of his eyes, “blind man, if I believe him….” his chin drops, his goblet dropping to his lap. “Everything will change.”
Remus nods morosely, reaching for his goblet. “I find things often do.”
The pair take a drink together and a comfortable silence falls between them. The kind of comfort that comes from years of unspoken familiarity. The kind of kinship that no magic could ever unwind, no matter how much money it cost.
Siren sighs deeply. “What do I do, Remus?”
“The way I see it, you’ve tried to rob a stagecoach but you fucked it a little. The horses are spooked, the driver is unconscious and you’re heading for the cliff. So you have two options.” he holds up two fingers. “First, you leap to safety watch the coach and its occupants fly off the cliff to their inevitable demise. You live, but the ghost of what you did haunts you for the rest of your days.”
Siren grimaces. “And the other?”
“You try to take control of the horses. Steer them away from imminent doom. Turn into the danger so you either end up all careening off the cliff together, or by some damned miracle, you all live.”
“Fuck.” The singer chuckles. “Why does that bullshit make so much sense?”
Remus gives a devilish grin as he stretches. “I’ve always had a way with words.”
Siren sighs. “You think I should help them.”
“I know you will. The self-sacrificing bullshit may have been Evelyn’s M.O. but I’ve never known you to turn your back on anyone.”
Siren looks up, frowning in confusion. What did he just say? “Who?”
“No one,” Remus dismisses it with a wave and gestures for Siren’s goblet. “Come on, we should probably find your boy toys before they tear this building apart looking for you.” Siren raises an eyebrow as he hands back the goblet. Remus chuckles “Well, more than it already is.”

The attacker looms over him, in black denim pants, neon-green belt, and a neon-green crop long-sleeved turtle neck. Wild brown hair with a streak of white looks really out of place when compared to his surprisingly well-groomed moustache. Though none of this really sticks in Siren’s mind as much as the unhinged smile on his face and the dagger in his hand.

Just know that I recently introduced Remus into my universes and as epic as his canon outfit is, it just didn’t match who he is in the story. The wonderful @crazygreatgamerperson drew this fantastic fanart of his outfit based off the reference images I was using and ASDFLKJ!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!
Remus is looking for someone and is not going to be discouraged from finding them. He knows he is on the right track because he cannot say said-person's name. Like it is a physical impossibility.
