Description vis Todd J. Pierce of the Disney History Institute: "This is the practice run [for the opening day parade], which occurred around noon. Note: Walt has the jacket with white buttons (no tie) that he wore as he was finishing up readying the park. Hardly any guests are there yet. And the sun is directly overhead (small shadows beneath people). When the parade was actually run, shadows covered about half the street. Cool shot."
