This is our 3rd Valentine’s day as a couple.

The unromantic Boyfriend booked an expensive dinner at Lewin Terrence. With the intent of proposing to the Girlfriend. As unromantic as he can be, he failed to make prior arrangements with the restaurant and was fully unplanned.

When he realised he couldn’t execute the plan, he went on to tell the girlfriend, “Say I do.” And often many of the occasions he offered his left hand saying, “I do!”

It was pretty funny and how he tried to salvage e situation but nothing seems to be working towards his favor. Lamenting that he could have fetched the ring on which occasion but didn’t etc. He simple told the Girlfriend, “Give chance please! My first time leh.”

The girlfriend turned and asked him. So you meant to say other guys are experienced? Who isn’t the first.

And Eventually the girlfriend said, “Mission abolished.”

Something to remember this Valentine’s Day. We would have so much to laugh at.

Valentine’s day 2018. Time flies. It’s our second valentine’s day.

As unromantic as he can be, I asked for the flowers. It affected me greatly because I was hoping that he remembers what makes me happy. Watching friends having partners who surprises them, I am wishing he would do the same.

This year’s dinner venue was unique, flowers were pretty, but the mood was bad. I am unwell.

I do not know if there will be a next valentine’s day. Time will only tell.

Because we are growing old. So the rabbit decided to start documenting their moments together. We do not know what the future will bring, but hopefully we will get to hold each other’s hand till the end.

The first bouquet from the Unromantic Boyfriend. Needs to be told to give the Girlfriend flowers on Valentine’s Day. Having said that, the Girlfriend mentioned before that no boyfriends ever send flowers to her at work. And the Boyfriend said ok, he will be the first.

Guess what! Upon checkout, there was a 10 bucks discount for self-collection. And when the florist emailed him if he could self-collect. He happily agreed. Only to be disappointed when the shop gave him flowers looking like the above. The Boyfriend was sad and the Girlfriend had to comfort him. “Dear, it’s the thought that counts.”

Truth to be told, this is not a complaint. This is the truth. This is what you will get in a relationship. You’ll not get the perfect as a partner, but you will learn to love your partner’s imperfections.
