Stranger Things 3 Spoilers

So think I figured out what felt so off about this season, not that I didn’t like it. I loved it and almost everything about it but something just felt off to me. For the past two seasons Eleven and Will have been the heart of the show right? There wasn’t anything wrong with El she was great and had good character development and learned to think for herself and learned that there’s more to life than boyfriends(don’t attack me I love mileven but her life shouldn’t revolve around him.) And then with Will? It felt like after episode three and four he was just a plot tool for them to know when The Mind Flayer was around. He didn’t get character development he got depression, destroyed the only place he felt safe to be by himself in and felt completely and utterly alone and that was thrown out the window the second the freaking mind flayer showed up. Sure Lucas apologized and Mike kinda did and then they went looking for him but then it stopped and it was never really resolved on screen. Will went from telling Lucas he didn’t care anymore which was painfully obviously a lie to being totally fine three months later. I honestly think they should have had another episode so they could explain things better and deal with things better because as great as the season was it felt very rushed at times and I hope it’s not like that next season and they don’t drag out the whole Will not liking El and that they actually get to be friends or siblings. I really want The Duffers to work on how to deal with Will as a normal kid because it feels like they don’t know what to do with him when he’s not stuck in another dimension or possessed by an evil monster.
