#ignore this pls #just in case someone hasnt been keeping up

someone asked us about the technicalities of moving a character from one city to another and we’ve come up with a somewhat simple way to let everyone on the dashboard, including the admins, know that your character has moved from one place to another without having to go through the trouble of notifying an admin first. i’ve set up an example post HERE. if you’re moving your character from new york to los angeles (for example), all you have to do is post a picture of any plane ticket or boarding pass with the following:

CHARACTER NAME has left CITY X and is now in CITY Y.

once you’ve done that, tag it under ‘valleyflights’ so everyone can keep tabs on characters’ movements. the formatting of the post is totally up to you. there is no set format so feel free to get as creative as possible with these posts. just make sure their whereabouts are perfectly clear to everyone. we’ll be adding this to the new main as well along with sample tickets you can use if you don’t feel like getting one off google.

Absolutely! We’ll have different chatzys in different cities. So if you want to attend your character can fly to the city it is being hosted in and meet up with old friends.

Is there going to be a tag for snapchats and tweets and stuff if you want to interact with people from other cities?

That is such a good question I didn’t even comprehend such an idea! We’ll be using the ‘valleystarter’ tag for universal post such as snapchat, text and calls.

A month isn't really that long of a break.

technically, it’s not a break. it focuses on what their lives look like after the show so we figured a long time gap isn’t necessary.

are we allowed to move from locations to locations/ how do we let you know where they are

everyone has full authority of where their characters go and how often they change locations. you’re free to take your characters wherever. each city will have a different starter tag and only people in the same city can rp through gif chats and paras. characters in different cities can only interact through snapchats/texts/calls/tweets/etc just to keep things realistic. details of how characters will move around and how you can let us and everyone else know will be posted tomorrow morning or afternoon.

seriously can you keep your little cliché rpg out of the tags please ! it's annoying to see it everywhere I go, This is one of the worst rpgs in all of tumblr and I'm highly surprised people still wanna join this shit.
