Violet took a seat on the floor next to the couch, as it was becoming clear this guy wasn’t moving any time soon, “Isn’t it dangerous to just sleep where everyone can find you? I don’t really want to be murdered. Even if it would make everyone love me.” She rolled her eyes, a little snarkier than usual just from her lack of sleep. She envied him how comfortable he seemed to be where anyone could see him.

“Maybe I am the murderer that I should be looking out for.” Roscoe winked, before turning on his back and settling back into his sleeping position. “You’re too paranoid... this place ain’t that bad.” He replied, assuming that either this girl had been invisible or she hadn’t been in this hellhole as long as he had. At least not long enough to know that the chances of going even more insane were higher than getting killed. “Why would it make everyone love you?”

“But this show is so boring...” Roscoe turned around, flashing a sleepy expression at the woman. “Why don’t you go to sleep too? Dreams must surely be better than this place.”

And here was the hard part. Di dug her nails into the palm of her hands, and hoped everything would work out fine, and that Mal would forgive her for this one. Or even if she was hated forever, at least maybe Mal would get her chance at happiness, “Okay so maybe she didn’t say all those things about you-” she absolutely had, but like hell was Di going to let this guy look down on Mal, “Honestly, I was making up that shit. I wanted to see how you would react.

“But she told me she fuckin’ loves you. And if you believe she was leading you on, that she friendzoned you, that means you had feelings for her too. So it’s obviously up to you, but I suggest you go talk to her, work things out, see if you two have a chance. Because you seem like a fuckin’ asshole so I doubt you’re going to find any other girl who’s crazy enough to fall in love with you. And definitely not one as gorgeous as Mal.”

You’re not going to bully me into talking to someone who’s told you bullshit about me just to probably get sympathy. I don’t want to be with someone like Mal. Not any more. She friend zoned me for a long time and pushed me away whenever I tried to get close. I’m done with it, and I moved on to better things. Just because no she’s finally alone and has no-one else to fuck, I’m not suddenly going to jump on that. She doesn’t love me. She just doesn’t want to be alone. So fuck off, and leave me alone. Di snorted, an ugly sound but what did she care? “Right. I’m going to believe you, who I’ve just fuckin’ met and doesn’t seem to give a shit either way for a guy supposedly ‘friendzoned’ - which is totally a fake thing, by the way - over Mal who I’ve known for years and was clearly fuckin’ distraught when she told me.

“What the fuck would she have to gain from lying to me? A fuckin’ fight between us? She specifically told me not to go after you.”
