I don’t think the solution is to force male creators into centering women I think the solution is that we need more female creators.

Most of it is active misogyny but a lot of it is authors just writing what they know. Men write from the perspective of men.

Personally I don’t really want Steven king to try and fail at writing a good female protagonist I’d just like a competent female author to write what she knows.

genuinely some kind of affirmative action type of institution needs to be created for female directors or writers or animators or whatever because apparently Hollywood isn’t going to do it alone.

The two party system is bad for this exact reason. This is the reason we say it’s bad.

I have ideas about changing the system without voting. But you call it too extreme.

So you’re putting me in a situation where I have to vote for a rapist because you won’t let us abolish the electoral college or [redacted] a U.S. military base.

Either grow up and become a communist or reap what you sow by voting for a rapist.
