In general, isn’t it pretty well-agreed upon that poverty breed’s violence, especially within lower class communities, and in communities that primarily house disenfranchised minorities? That’s a pretty common discussion in most leftist spaces, at least in the ones that I’m a part of?

And I agree that the victims should be centered in these conversations regarding gendered violence, and how it affects the women in these communities, but to say that the men in these situations harm women WORSE than the upper classes is….? Especially after everything that has been revealed in the Epstein files + everything that we know about the upper classes using their wealth to fund genocides across the world, that then contribute MAJORLY to gendered violence overseas.

This isn’t just a “Marxist” problem, it’s a problem that bleeds into all communities because that’s how the patriarchy operates.

we do have to contend with the fact that the reason there is this like perpetual conflation funnel that turns aave and other black dialects into 'gen z slang' and memes and the reason non black performers keep putting on blaccents and the reason pictures of black people just existing gets turned into memes is the same and its because its all minstrelsy.
