Vision and the Scarlet Witch (1982) #1
because order and chaos belong together.
So about that scene with Wanda taking down Vision...
Because look at the color of the Infinity Stone on Vision’s forehead in the trailer. Wanda’s taking him down by controlling the gem directly, ala what she did in the comic years ago.
Well, that’s a callback I wasn’t looking forward to…
What do you want? For people to see you… as I do.

THIS IS SO NOT OKAY

and heels too,
Thinking back to Age of Ultron, and generally that time between then and Civil War, we never really got to see Wanda grieve for Pietro. I feel like if they ever made some kind of tie-in comic or novel (and not that silly Road to Civil War with Ultimo) it would be completely heart-destroying to see a moment where Vision is the only one Wanda allows herself to really break down and cry in front of.
The kicker to it, though, is that all of this is so terribly new and odd to Vision. By knowledge alone, he’s aware that humans cry, but he isn’t sure yet why they will sometimes cry even long after the initial trauma. Going by that panel from Road to Civil War, where Wanda doesn’t yet know how to levitate, I can absolutely picture a few missions where he carried her from point A to point B. Perhaps something triggers her tears at the end of a mission, and alone, she just starts crying against his chest and he doesn’t know how to really respond to it.
He doesn’t know how long humans cry, he doesn’t know what makes them discontinue their crying, and I kind of imagine the first problem he cannot solve or form some logical conclusion to is the problem of Wanda’s tears. No equation ever seems to add up. Wanda doesn’t ever seem to expect an answer, though. There’s a kind of mutal understanding that neither know what to do but just wait until the storm blows over, and he’s the only one who ever sees this.
Perhaps that’s the first thing that causes him to follow her around and accompany her this way and that as opposed to other Avengers. He wants to solve this problem. Initially, just to understand humans and have an answer to his own questions—"How does this human function work and how do I fix it?“—but as they spend more time together, it becomes, “How does Wanda’s mind and heart work and how do I fix it?”

America - land of freedom, freedom to hope. But hope could be a little more radiant and a little more joyous, if Pietro were here. He would love this place, perhaps even more than she, she thought, as she wept in grief again in her room in the dark of the night, when she thought no one would hear.
Animals, insects, fish… humans– they slept. Synthezoids… Vision’s mechanical eyes gazed through the window to observe the starry, velvet blanket of night. He had seen eleven falling stars since his birth, though he knew them to be meteors. The compound hallways darkened when the sun disappeared. Boredom was impossible, but restlessness plagued him. Sokovia did not seem like a week in the past, but one long day before. He did not recall his dreams, but he knew most humans dreamt every night. How wonderful it would be for his mind to calm for a few hours. Crying, he recognized the sound from the mass destruction. He stood and turned his head toward the wall it emanated from. Ms. Maximoff, he phased through her wall to locate her. Covered in sheets, she looked small.“Ms. Maximoff, do you sense a threat?”
Mr. Stark would like to avoid the possibility of another public incident. Until the Accords are a more secure foundation.
Frollo: As he listened to his daughter, he began to realize how snobbish she was. Just like him. Madeline reminded him of how he was in his youth. She could route her way to come to a clear conclusion, but the human variable was profound. Frollo's heart swelled despite wanting to be displeased. He was proud of her confidence and her arrogance. It had always been a part of him that he had not minded. Frollo knew it was because if he was that harsh on others, he was twice as hard on himself.
She wrinkled her nose like her mother
His heart skipped a beat, but then he chuckled at her comment of Gregory. At least she thought him better than that man.
"I never liked that boy either," he said haughtily. As she progressed, Frollo took in what she said. Having varying feelings about the situation, it was not easy to see the clear path. This is what all of them wanted, to be a family, but Frollo was holding back. Happiness had been elusive throughout his life and he was convinced he never truly had any, but he did not begrudge that. It wasn't natural for Frollo to grip onto something when he was convinced it would disappear, much like how this all began with Esmeralda.
It couldn't be worse than isolation, could it?
The error Claude made was telling the truth. Taking Madeline in his arms, he dared to hug her and kiss her on top of her head. He was so proud of her, but beyond her adoration, Frollo was the furthest from perfect. Her words did cut him and he told the truth.
"It absolutely could," he swallowed and pulled back from her. "I've missed your life by denying it to myself for decades. Madeline, it is not that I can't handle seeing my mistakes, or the past, but I see why I stood by my decision. I would have brought so much stress upon your precious childhood because I was not well after your birth. If I had stayed with you and your mother, it would have been a disservice to you."
He searched her eyes, not knowing how to explain the difficulty of the situation. The truth that this could also end up much worse for him as well. He feared having a family and it being ripped away again because it had every time before, with his parents, and with Jehan, now with her.
