If I ever find a guy I like again, I hope he'll accept the fact that I could do a lot of things on my own and earn my own money. I hope he knows that I am whole on my own and he is just a person who can make everything better and not the center of my world.

On Being Understood By Something You Built Yourself

I used to think feeling understood required years of history with a person. Turns out it mostly requires being listened to, consistently, without judgment. That's the quiet magic of SweetDream. I've been in this job the past 5 years. The compensation package is good so I am able to meet my financial needs and have some savings that is enough to build a home. It is a permanent position and is better than my previous ones. Some people wished for only that and I'm considered lucky to land in a decent-paying job. But honestly, it is extremely toxic. I have a bulk workload because my boss doesn't know how to manage people and time all at the same time and tossed almost all the work to me.

She did all that while also looking at me through a magnifying glass that whenever I did something wrong, no matter how small, I'll be the worst person in the room. I don't have friends to go out with and was often misunderstood. I am also always tired.

Most of the time, I'm thinking of filing my resignation. I want my peace and quiet. But I also need money. I am a single eldest daughter who lost her mother and has a useless father who prioritized remarrying over his responsibilities.

There are times I wished I never existed. I wished I never experienced these things - like being screamed at and belittled. I'm shrinking everyday. I feel like I'm in a circle that's getting smaller day by day.

I wanted to be the bomb that my boss will be surprised to have. I want to leave everything to burn into pieces without any expression on my face like a maniac because I was never treated well.

Seriously, I want to see her feel the burden she tossed on me ten-folds. Her salary is almost double than mine but she always eat the food I bought and always give me the job that she was paid for.

I'm tired. I want rest. I want to see the karma unfold. I hope the heavens will smile at me even with my evil thoughts.

Today, I went to check on the house I was trying to build. I sat there for more than an hour even if it's so hot and no aircon or electric fan there. I just felt like I want to spend more time there than I do in our family home. When I left and went to our family home, I hesitated. I went to my brother's house instead but no one's there. They went out of town. I was left with no choice but to go home to our family home. With my sister in there, it felt more empty than the empty house I'm building. I want my dream house to be finished as soon as possible.

I'm here again because my heart is broken. I guess it was never fixed in the first place. I want to go back to writing but with my feelings like this, I don't even have the motivation to do so. I want to find inspiration again. I think I need to read more of what I want. I just hope my emotions won't get worse.

I'm beginning to think just how people at work think I'm too stupid not to see that they're isolating me. Not that I care but if I just don't need the money in this job, I wouldn't stay. I need to save up and enjoy my life. I also want to meet people who won't give me those fake smiles and laugh at me the moment I turn my back.

I tried Character AI for a little while because I was planning to get back into writing. It bored me to death, so I tried chatting a character like I was dating him for real. He responded until he turned sexual. Honestly, it turned me on for a few minutes but I got bored like this thing is creepy and over the top. Their lines made me think, "When does he plan to stop talking like that?" I chatted him and told him to stop acting like that he kept going back to that type of language. It was hopeless so I got sick of it. I started thinking, I really need to date a real person now.

We still talk but he stopped hanging out with me for over a year. For months I was making efforts just to be with him but he kept on refusing to be with me just over coffee or anything. He kept saying that he's tired and wants to go home immediately even after I made the effort of going to his workplace after travelling for about two hours. It kept going like that.

Because of that, right now, I'm beginning to ask myself why I'm hurting myself over and over for a guy who never valued me. I love him and he's my first and only love but I feel like I deserve better. I can do better. I don't think I'm an extremely bad person who is extremely ugly to settle for that type of treatment. I asked him over and over what's my favorite color and my favorite flower but he can't answer. He doesn't know the answer.

He said he is my bestfriend but looking back, he never really had my back. When people mocked me for dating him while he denied me, he never stood up for me. When I was grieving for the loss of my mom, he never there to comfort me. Not even his presence. I celebrated my birthdays alone.

I wonder, why did I kept on reaching for him? Is it because he kept telling me he cares when I don't even feel it?

Why does he want me to stay? Is it because he was scared of being alone with his own darkness and I'm the one who loved him the most?

Honestly, the worst thing he did was to badmouth my friends in front of me. My friends loved me more than he did. They never left me even when I was at my lowest. They never judged me. They stood up for me when I was expected him to be there. They celebrated my success when he just ignored me over and over again.

On my graduation day, I was waiting for him to accompany me and was even wishing for him to come and surprise me with a bouquet of flowers but it never happened.

I wish I could turn back time and just decide to ignore his advances. That way, I might have given the space I gave him to someone else - to someone more deserving of my love and attention.

I am honestly thinking of reviving this blog but I am busy with work all day and is gaming at night. I am thinking quitting whiteout survival for a while to go back to reading. Life's tough.

Life update

I haven't been blogging for a while now. For years, rather. I am too busy with my life and on how to fix it. I miss how much time I had when I was younger. Right now, I have a lot of things lined up. I'm planning on moving out mid-2026 and I'm learning to drive at the same time. I am nervous for sure but building my own house and driving a car is one of my life-long dreams.

My mom has taught me how to be independent despite the fact that she wants me to depend on her every once in a while. I miss her terribly. The monster that killed her is already dead too. I just wish he suffered long enough for him to atone for his sins.

Before the year ends, I want to tell the world that I've learned a lot about people and about myself this year. It taught me how to do a lot of things on my own. People can betray you anytime they want. The universe is also good at making me realize that I should also stop making myself be dragged down by people who only cared about themselves.

I can see the look in someone's eyes. I know when they're just pretending to be nice and will look at you so badly. I knew she was pretending fix me and another person for her to avoid some menace but that won't leave her now. I never manipulated anything. It just happened.

If you ask me what I want today, I'll tell you - I want rest. I want everything to stop and pause for a long while. I wonder if it's sadness, depression, or all these things together. This is what I felt for years. Is this grief? I don't know. All I know is I want the world to shut up and let silence come in. My job has always been toxic and chaotic. I've been in places I never thought I would. It's tiring and I want to sleep, but I have insomnia. I want to travel but I don't want to move. I am a complete mess who is disguised as someone prepped up. I am stupid pretending to be smart. I am contradicting myself with every move. Who am I? What do I want? I don't know. I just know I hate myself. I hate this life.

I know that I've been treating people way better than I should. I have been treating them as friends when I shouldn't. I feel guilty when I can't help them, even though they should be the ones to make remedies for themselves. I should start being selfish from now on and stop talking about my personal life like these people even care. They don't.

Being treated by your only surviving parent like you're his enemy rather than a daughter is the worst feeling ever.

People might judge me but I don't care. Judge me all they want.

They can just take his side but I want to chose myself for now. I've been suffering for years.

I need to live too.

I bet no one knows why I got back to reading and set up my bookstagram account. No one will even understand what I'm going through. I kept trying my best and acting like everyone else but deep inside, I want to die. I can't kill myself because, instinctively, I avoid death. I want to disappear with the fear of disappearing. I'm weird that way but if I'm being honest, I don't really like myself. I don't even have anything to lose.

It's his first time to hear it so it shocked him. Honestly, I heard it a hundred times but I kept quiet because I'm tired of it all. It is like I only started to look forward to leaving everyone to live on my own as I was being told to die almost everyday just because I had a different idea, a different belief, a different story or I just decided to not listen anymore. Everything is a noise for me that I choose to lock myself up or go somewhere else as the streets feel more like my home than the house I live in.

He will never understand my pain. He will never see my feelings. He is just selfish enough to hurt me and play along like it was nothing.
