Seeing bright red berries on the trees makes it feel like the holidays here at WAC. #wacluv #ctown (at Washington College)
My RA brought us coffee and donuts this morning. God bless.Â
Beautiful tree ft beautiful suitemate 🍂 (at Washington College)
Beautiful morning here at WAC.
The CAC is super pretty at night.
Back On Campus
Thanksgiving break has come and gone, now I am back at WAC for my last three weeks. I just had my last layout for The Elm and everything is starting to wind down. Although, I still have a lot of work I need to do, now I can count all of my major assignments on only two hands. Time to finish the semester strong. Wish me luck!

Dear Reader,
There is no doubt that the students at Washington College have felt the blow from the results of the recent presidential election.Â
There is fear, uncertainty, and hopelessness.
I have personally faced this but am comforted by the fact that I am not alone.Â
Last week, students wrote their post-election feelings and hung them up outside of dining hall. Our professors were also outside all day offering words of support and encouragement.
To quote my dear Kate McKinnon, “I’m not giving up and neither should you.”
All the best,
JillianÂ
I’m going to miss Chestertown
Graduation is quickly approaching, and I am feeling pretty nostalgic. I’ve lived here for almost four years now, but in a couple weeks, I no longer will be. I think about all the things that I am going to miss, and I realize it’s everything-- every odd little thing about this town. I would’t trade it for the world.
By Caitlyn Maltese Student Life Editor On Nov. 11, Dr. William Schindler gave a talk about his experience working on “The Great Human Race” (TGHR) titled “Augmented Reality: How We Transform a Real…
We had a great talk by one of our professors last week. Here’s an article I wrote about it for The Elm.
So this is a thing. Fantastic.
WC treats us well. Even though we aren't here for thanksgiving, the dining hall pulls out all stops to give us a thanksgiving dinner the week before. I love our school. This is definitely one of my favorite traditions.Â
Happy thanksgiving from WAC!
Only two more days of classes until break!
