I see some crazy comments on social media saying, “Wait, how is it possible that a deaf person would survive the apocalypse? I mean, get real.” And I’m like, wait, wait! First of all, this is a zombie show! Second of all, we have babies that are raised and survive during the apocalypse. And I think that the bottom line really is that this show is about how amazing humans are, how they adapt, and I think Connie supports that point. – Lauren Ridloff
