thewalkingmonster replied to your post: “Would anyone like to talk?”
“Huh…? A songstress?” (Why not? Nice to get familiar with a few faces =) ))
Lacus blinked at the man. “Oh, hello. I’m Lacus Clyne. It’s a pleasure to meet you” She took note of his attire, being of mostly red and black, along with his left hand claw. “Might I ask what your name is?” ((Haha, Yay Vincent~!))
The man in red was as damaged as can get. Vincent Valentine, a former turk and a man scared from his old life, his betrayal and his own penance he carries everyday. He is a man lost in his own time, an experiement that was just left behind. Either way, he looked back to see a girl in pink hair. She didn't seem harmful, but Vincent was always careful. "Lacus." He nodded in response to her question. "My name is Vincent Valentine. If you don't mind me saying, what are you doing here?"
"Mission complete."
Here We Go.
Let's get to it. And hello to everyone who is currently following/ a follower from last night. Thank you for your kind welcomes.
That was my sin.

Now that Vincent was working more and more with the W.R.O., Reeve approached him one day as Vincent was holding an old Winchester he used back when AVALANCHE was taking on what would be Sephiroth's threat. He was cleaning it out that day as Reeve approached him with a somewhat bright smile. The kind of smile that said he was hiding something. He looked up and Reeve said that he has a job for Vincent. Apparently, there was some lost Shinra files in an old possible mansion. It ceased operations back when Shinra decided to cut funds with it. His objective: to go into this old residence and extract those files they had on the computers.
But he wasn't going to do this alone. In the mission files, it said agents :V. Valentine and Y. Kisaragi. Instantly Vincent was sort of taken a bit back by it. An old face, and someone who was a very...cheerful young girl. "Yuffie...?"
In his mind, he didn't know if she was ready for this kind of mission: an old run down place with some possible skeletons it could be hiding. Either way, he walked outside the weapon armory and saw a familiar face, waiting and anticipating his return.
"Yuffie? Is that...you?"

With the W.R.O. still expanding and wanting to try and build more allies and hopefully friendly alliances, Reeve met with another Cid for the first time, this one claiming to be of a race called the Al-Bhed. Reeve walked into Vincent where the gun armory was at as he was sitting down on the chair behind the counter. Cid was introduced to Vincent, who was meeting Cid for the first time. "Pleasure to meet you sir." he said in a polite and sincere tone of voice.
As they both exchanged greetings, Cid couldn't help but sort of ask about Vincent why he was "down on the dumps" and "why the red?". Vincent took it as a light-hearted humor as well as Reeve. But the three of them sat down to discuss a mission involving the help with the W.R.O. and with the Al-Bhed get ready for a "sphere hunting group", first of it's kind. Vincent shook his head and decided to pursue this aid.
The next day, the three of them got on Cid's airship and went over to the Al-Bhed home, which was still under construction from a very severe attack. He walked out, dressed in his usual attire with the cape going with the wind. This place was extremely windy and a city among sand. Vincent walked over to where he was supposed to meet his contact, a young girl in blonde hair, with two-dagger like weapons. From the sound of it, she sounded like a hired merc, but nothing was set and stone yet.
He sat down at this restaurant like hang out the Al-Bhed had. Instantly people were looking right at Vincent, some with glares and others not knowing what to do. As if a bandit walked into a saloon. He sat down though, not looking at anyone and waited for this possible mercenary to meet with him.
This day there was no such thing as a particular “battle to be fought” or anything like that. The W.R.O. gave Vincent the day off for normally being there and taking care...

"It's okay with me Cid." Vincent gave a little chuckle as he shook his head. Cid and Vincent were both men of old, whether they looked like it or not. Same ideals, same approaches, and same morals. This to them was a nice reunion and even as Vincent got up to make the tea for himself, he took off both gloves and started to work on his own tea that he had. After he was done getting the tea ready and waiting for it to head up, he looked back at Cid.
"How do you feel about trying again to go up in space?"
Life was good for Midgar. People were settling into a new time, new good times and a prospering future. It was a world so newly born since Sephiroth and his brothers were gone for good now. As for Vincent, he was still going through his private hell. His own worst enemy,...
Vincent was a little surprised as she said how "it wasn't fair". In what way he thought. He was always someone who was very careful around people and on his surroundings, but he was supposed to be on a vacation in this island. Before he helped pull this young girl up, he holstered Cerberus for his hand to be free. In doing so, he knew that he revealed his claw that he had. A private penance he took upon himself for the things that happened that day. But as he helped her get back up after the shootout, he nodded his head as a way of a "hello".
"Nice to meet you Yuna." He said as he raised his head to reveal his mouth that he had concealed in the red cape he had. "My name is Vincent Valentine and excuse me for the sudden gunfire. I didn't mean to do that." The now deceased fiends weren't going to stop. They had the intention to cause harm and Vincent saw the one way he knew how to settle something like that. "I hope I you aren't hurt Yuna, allow--" Just as he was about ready to finish his sentence, he saw that the fiends were fading into aura-like spirits.
He ran in front of Yuna and brought Cerberus out for another possible round. He reloaded Cerberus, ready with new bullets to use. "Stay close Yuna. I'm not sure if they're regenerating or if they're really gone." He seemed sort of like a knight at this point, or a total stranger with a gun. Either way, Cerberus and Vincent were ready for one more round, but something didn't seem right about this one. "Yuna...what are those...spirits?"

Life was good for Midgar. People were settling into a new time, new good times and a prospering future. It was a world so newly born since Sephiroth and his brothers were gone for good now. As for Vincent, he was still going through his private hell. His own worst enemy, his past, still kept visiting him like a ghost that was quietly there. Reeve seemed very concerned over this and he decided that Vincent should possibly take some time off. He was working as a weapons instructor and the primary field agent for the W.R.O. and one day Reeve surprised Vincent by sending him to an island for him to settle down.
"Reeve, you're going to need me here. I can't just walk out like this."
Either way, Reeve made up his mind. He wanted to help a friend he was concerned about and someone that contributed so much to this agency. The next day, Reeve sent Vincent to an airplane to drop him down to this Besaid Island. Not much was known to Vincent about this place but it did seem rather interesting. The hatch opened and Vincent fell down from a high altitude to a boat that was there waiting for him. He landed down softly on the ground, something no ordinary human could do on his own. "Reeve, I've landed on the...boat you sent me on." At that point Reeve responded to 'have fun! Enjoy your vacation Vincent!'.
Vincent not knowing what to do next, went over to the docking station they had there in the Island. He then left the boat there and it stood out amongst the wooden boats and canoes that were docked. Even the people looked at Vincent differently, as if he was a complete stranger.
Oddly enough, no such thing as customs, no such thing as search procedures, it was almost as if he walked into a new world. Every person looked at Vincent since he carried his pistol on him and his tall brooding appearance. Suddenly right as he walked in five minutes, he saw a girl walking and creatures, looking like a wild bird, a dangerous wolf, and even a water-like monster behind her. He ran toward the girl fast.
"Get down and cover your ears!" He brought out Cerberus and took on the creatures that had the intent to kill. Soon, all three of the creatures had faced Cerberus head on. Big mistake on their end, as they found out. He looked at the girl who was there that just watched him kill three enemies.
"Sorry for the noise." He said looking down at her with his blood red eyes. "Here, do you need a hand up?" Vincent did look very intimidating but at the same time, he did help her but also got her by surprise. The least he wanted to do was offer a hand up.

As night vanished and the sun was coming up for a new day, Vincent was already getting ready to get on the train again to go see Tifa at Seventh Heaven. He was in the middle of a job from the W.R.O. and both Cloud and Tifa knew about some of the back areas behind Midgar before a mission to dig around whatever remnants of Deepground was left behind.
He jumped on the train leaving to go to Sector Seven and then he was in for the ride. As he rode on top of the train, he crouched down to keep his stance on the train. As he got closer to his destination, he leaped into the air and jumped from building to building. A sight to be seen by those watching from the ground. He didn't mean to attract attention, but this was a very fast way to get to Seventh Heaven. He finally dove down to where the bar was, and where the meeting location would be at. Vincent pushed the doors to enter inside but no one was there. Instead he sat there at the stool, and watched around him to see if anyone was in the premise.
"Umm hello? Anyone here?" He said as he cleared his throat to look around again. This time he got up to search the area. Something was not right about this sudden disappearance. As he looked around, ready to bring Cerberus out just in case, he saw Marlene there in a room.
"Marlene? What are you doing here alone?" He said in a very surprised tone of voice. Something wasn't right. Tifa and Cloud would never leave a child abandoned like this. He got on his knee and looked down at her. Hopefully his brood appearance wouldn't scare her away from asking her questions about what happened. "Where is everyone? What happened here?"
This day there was no such thing as a particular “battle to be fought” or anything like that. The W.R.O. gave Vincent the day off for normally being there and taking care of the different jobs he was given over there. From being a firearms instructor, a field agent, his...
Vincent did give a gleam smile as he saw an old friend from his adventures. He always remembered Cid for his gruff, military-like presence and how good of an engineer the man was. Even though this was a personal visit and a proposition, Vincent felt good to see him.
"It's good to see you again Cid. Can I enter inside?" He asked as he was standing on the steps to enter inside the door. The home looked remodeled, different than how it looked like last time he entered. His property was vast, plenty of acres and plenty of open space for experiments and his "playground" too.
"I have a question though Cid, if I can ask as well."
