Introduction

Welcome to my Portal of Chaos

I am an eclectic death witch of nearly 5 years. I am constantly changing & evolving, working with deities surrounding transformation & rebirth. I am able to channel messages from the divine as well as from spirits who have crossed over.

I believe there are some lessons we can only learn through spirit;

Our worlds of Life & Death are so closely intertwined.

I recently began working with divine Mothers Hekate & Demeter. They are such an incredible team for releasing & transforming grief. Never have I ever had such cathartic cries than when I have worked with Demeter, especially during ritual. Demeter will release grief & seek to soothe, as a Mother does; & these burdens are food for Hekate Borborophorba, the Eater of Filth [grief].

I hope for this page to serve as a sufficient digital altar space for my guides & to gather a like-minded community of witches.

John D. Batten (1865-1932), Demeter and Persephone; Demeter, in blue, clutches her daughter's hands after her return to the world of the living. Exhibited at the New Gallery in 1891 with the accompanying poem:

The sorrows of thine heart are comforted; For once again the king yealds up his prize, The Blossom maiden of thine memories, Crown'd bride of death, and queen among the dead. The Birth of Sleipnir

I figured what better way to introduce myself as a Lokean than to share the myth that gave Loki the title of Mother.

So basically this guy rolls up offering to build a defensive wall for the Gods. He asks for Freyja's hand in marriage, as well as the sun & moon as payment. Loki persuades everyone to accept the conditions of the deal if the builder can finish the wall within three seasons. This guy agrees to the deal if he can utilize his horse, Svadilfari, who would double his working speed. As the deadline approaches, Freyja is reasonably concerned & upset; the Gods meet & threaten to sentence Loki to death if he fails to stop the builder.

How would Loki get the Gods out of this predicament?

Well, surely, by transforming into a mare.

Svadilfari is enamored with Loki & chases her around relentlessly. Without transportation, completion of the build is out of reach, & Freyja can finally relax. The Gods also realized that the builder is a Jotunn, so they sent Thor to deal with him. Mjolnir in hand, he crushes the giant's skull, defeating him.

...and that's where it ends, right?

That night, after being chased by the stallion, Loki births an eight-legged horse called Sleipnir, who is adopted as Odin's steed.

Praise be to Loki, Mother & Father.

Inspired by this wonderful post by @vdoes and a conversation with some lovely friends about Hermes naturally being associated with pigeons because they are carriers of messages! Hermes is one of my faves AND I love pigeons very much.
