Stay thirsty my friends.
Looking through my closet and finding a severe lack in pastel tones. It's Easter and I feel I need some mauve and taupe to wear! 🐰
I've always loved fashion lookbooks, so I inspired my husband to make an artist lookbook of his body of of work. Now I'm tasked with the marketing of all these books 😑
I had to drop my husband off at the dentist and I got to take myself to breakfast at a cute bakery: Little Prague.
Six years ago today, coronavirus replaced the rainbow and pot of gold.
Want. Micro bangs! But can't pull it off like Em Watson does! 😭
Found some cool handle potentials for my friend. She is a talented ceramics artist though she may never admit it. This one reminds me of an ear! 👂
Found near Ebey's Landing beach.

Exhaling into February
The longest month is behind us: January. What lingers, though, is everything it carried with it. I know most of us are still reeling from the tragedies that unfolded and the ones that continue to hover in our peripheral vision. I’ve found myself exhaling hard most mornings, making peace with the state of things while holding one question close: how do we defend our freedom? We need art. We need…
Are you scared? Enraged? Feeling powerless? Ready to go break things? Don't know what to do first?
Last week the House approved a huge appropriations bill that among other things, sends another massive chunk of money to ICE. The Senate is voting on it this week.
Now is a GREAT time for you to call your Senators, especially because so many of us are at home in the midst of an epic winter storm. If their voicemails are full (I hear that is happening right now...fuck yeah), then send them an email. In fact, do both! Let's create a tsunami of concerned constituents.
I know this seems like a small thing, but it's a start. And it is one more way we can protect our neighbors. AND IT WORKS!
I am trying my hardest to not give into the overwhelming desire to just fucking give up right now. Please join me in that. When we give up, evil wins. We are not doomed (unless we decide we are). And I swear I will make you a fake cake reminding you of that every day until goodness prevails.
