The light that never went out (at Outskirts of masjid e falaknuma)
The light that never went out (at Outskirts of masjid e falaknuma)
Someday we all learn how to give and receive love like an open window and it will feel like summer everyday
Why mourn at the bird which flew away?
FELT NEED?
So my dear folks,
Deen is our felt need. I felt so. So is the Reflection.
Its when I realised I was so absorbed. Absorbed in the dust, consumed by the lust and adhered to the crust of this bad bad world. Wait, what? What made it so bad? I ask myself today.
So we don't accept things from the universe that does'nt seem credible and is of interest. Yet we go to search credibility and matters of interest.
There's deffo be a reason I'm holding my keypad and pouring down words here. Before typing the stuff, I've let some ink absorbed onto my today's paper. Asking myself plethora of questions. Why ? Why? Why? A deluge of of confusions and delusions diffused in my air pipe from the dust of the universe.
What's the skin of desires? What else's akin to hell-fire?
Today I dig this stuff mucho because I felt a need. A need to discover myself more. What grains I'm made of? What I basically need? What am I afraid of.
More than hell fire, I'm afraid of rejection. Rejection by my own creator. What its like close to being officially and bluntly rejected by Allah swt? Im afraid so.
What we basically need is goodness. And pretty much, kindness. Its a vicious cycle. You give, and you receive. Goodness is in-built. We just act ugly, no? But somewhere, and maybe we just know where exactly those good nerves are concealed in the wept and warp of our own body mesh. Our own soul. The goodness do be hidden under the mask of bad.
Not so shockingly, I realise that deliberate attempt to bad is as nasty as a dent in your hair.
Today I ask myself what do I want? Is it goodness that will suffice my soul?
And what if I want something other than goodness, knowingly or unknowingly? Wanting things is human, right? But wanting things that rotten my soul is dangerous. Nothing is as dangerous as letting something prey your own dear soul. Isnt it injustice? Isnt it close to tyranny? Self destruction is the worst destruction. No steroid, but unhealthy desires and ill thinking is what renders you real debilitated and immuno-compromised. Like really.
But they say vice is human, so its okay for you to commit it for once. But why have we forgotten, no matter what virtue is still too human to be hidden within your blood vessels. Goodness is literally and blatantly human, dear folks!
The next time you want to turn to goodness, make it happen for real. Thats floating in you, only when you realise.
Goodness should be like gravity, which automatically comes down from a human, even when bad is intended to be tossed up.
Life is a labyrinth, sometimes succumb us to situations that demand us to forget what and who we are. Do I sound cooky pointy toes? So what you do in such situation? You deffo be like switching roles. Switch to a role that sounds you full, forgetting that the role played by you was'nt you initially at all! You just played it, for your own simple better volume version of yourself which you achieve inturn for the role.
Allah tells us that the centuries of sleep of the young men in Surah al Kahf is the direct result of them turning to Allah requesting His loving care (rahmah) and guidance (rashad). Youth in particular, therefore, should not underestimate the miraculous power of sincere prayer to the almighty. - NOUMAN ALI KHAN
Basic idea of life is reflection. Reflecting to deen. Deen alone is credible and is of interest when we fall apart. What's required is participation, motivation, a bit comprehension followed by reinforcement to learning it by doing, informing others too about it and setting an example in the first place. Because life is too short to live sins and sorrows, let us reflect to the deen. The only key to the treasure of solace and happiness.
But at the fag end of my thought process to dissecting this write-off, I'd state, "With goodness comes Belief. Like goodness, belief is in-built even though it is factually inert. You just gotta dig it up from your license of being human.
Over to you.
Just keep going.
I've got my own ways.
With The state of mind discrete, The ink of my pen, spilled I discover myself Like bread and cheese on shelf.
I speak what i find blatantly obvious, Then I tend to declare it over-wraughtedly, Before i call myself an open book You just gotta take a look.
I am not a reader, I am not a writer. But still i write To set my whims ignite.
I do things uncannily hipster, Go random, Though not a multi-tasker To pass the time that's been lack-lustre.
I'm living, i occupy space, I've got mass, Irrevocably enough, i matter Probably, I'm growing fatter?
I'm not a spend-thrift, I'm not a richie, But still I'm way much care-free Down the road to glee.
I dismiss the rational, I've been in favor of aesthetic, But still I'm creative I know, I've got my own perspective.
I hypothetize things, I speculate events, Keep myself in a string of guesses I too have got long tresses.
I comprehend things doltishly, I'm soft in the head, With my memory wee bit ephimeral Despite, i think lateral.
I'm unexciting I'm monotonous, But you'd rather kiss my ace, For the variety and interest, with grace.
I'm sluggish, I'm slow, But still give a straight cut on a chase I've got my own ways.
Yayyie! The cloud thing. Right from the hill top!
Here's to the moon. Before I call it a moon walk. #landscapelover #natureswalk

the hours are so thin, we become respectful of the pain. we start to squash ourselves into soap bars, to prove we are clean. but the moon won’t let us lie to ourselves we’re all dirty we’re all dirty we’re all dirty
the stars whispered to me one night and told me there’s no shame in being dirty, we’re all made of dust anyway, right? Amanda Helm
We’re all a little weird, and life’s a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

1.Write a few poems a week. Don’t spend a week poemless. 2.Try your best not to take hiatuses unless you are super-busy or you’ve broken your hand. 3. Never stop reading through writing help/reference blogs. Make tags for references if needs be. 4. Don’t refrain from writing ‘because you don’t feel the vibe’ or ‘you know it won’t be good’. You know what work isn’t good? Non-existent work. 5. Don’t rely on everybody’s opinions for every aspect of your writing. Writing should be deontological - write whatever you want, because you want to write it, and that should be the sole reason. 6. Drink loads of Goddamn water. 7. Don’t sit in your bedroom gazing out of the window and expect to whip up a novel about things you’ve never experienced. I’m not saying go and kill a man, but writing is a practical thing too. 8. Do your research. Similar to the tip above, but more in the fact that you shouldn’t come to any conclusions or make misinformed assumptions when you write. Don’t base your knowledge on a passing remark on Buddhism that you heard a few months ago. Just do your damn research. 9. Don’t you dare compare yourself to other writers. It’s quite illogical to be fair; we all have something different to share with the world. The minute you wish you wrote like that person is the minute you lose your individuality. 10. ALWAYS believe you can write well. The more you believe it, the stronger your writing will become. Self-deprecation only leads to so many potential masterpieces thrown away.
Ten Writing Tips To Myself // W.J (via cascadingletters)
The mind of a writer can be a truly terrifying thing. Isolated, neurotic, caffeine addled, crippled by procrastination, consumed by feelings of panic, self-loathing and soul-crushing inadequacy… and that’s on a good day.

Diet and the Brain
1. Junk food triggers the same pleasure centres in the brain as drugs do. That could be one reason why so many people binge on those foods.
2. The brain uses a disproportionately large amount of our calorie intake. Hence, poor nutrition may have negative consequences for the brain.
3. Ensuring an adequate and steady calorie intake throughout the day is the first step to keeping focused and alert all day long. (Note: Eating regularly - three meals a day - helps you to concentrate.)
4. Omega-3 oils (found in oily fish, walnuts, pumpkin and flax seeds) help build and maintain the myelin sheath around brain fibres. This is crucial for peak mental performance.
5. Slow release, protein-rich foods help to maintain a healthy level of dopamine. This helps us to feel peaceful, positive, enthusiasm, motivated and, generally, happy. However, falling levels are associated with a sense of emptiness, sadness, irritation and boredom.
