"You're … You're a vampire?" Tommy panted, his voice not going higher than a whisper.
Curiously, Evan tilted his head, his lips curling. "Is that so bad?"
Tommy didn't know. For so long, Tommy had hunted creatures like Evan, thinking he was protecting the people. Everything was black and white. Now things seemed to become muddled. Tommy didn't know what to think.
Leaning his head down, Evan gently grazed his tongue against the pooling blood seeping out of the wound on Tommy’s throat. Soft licks and kisses eased the dull buzzing pain. Tommy leaned into the touch, quietly moaning, arching his head back, allowing him to get more. Tommy ached for more, not just of Evan, or for the sensation of being feasted upon, but Tommy ached for knowledge, to know how he became this way.
