About Simon:
- He was born in america, but his parents are originally french and japanese that's why he knows a few random letters in japanese and french, he usually confuses them when talking to Stella tho, which causes funny confusions between them.
- He is 15, near being 16, his age progresses trough the story with him until he hits 30, that is when he dies.
- Simon's birthday is on January 13th, he was born on 1933.
About Stella:
- Stella is hawaiian "native" not really born there, but she is been living there since she was born. She is also adopted but don't tell her🙏
- Stella's birthday is on December 12th, she was born also on 1932, which makes her being 15 too when the story starts(??) kinda its hard to explain.
- This is not really about Stella, but the Erlking is NOT. a Stella relative, she comes only from Hina, (her biological mother¿) but she is not blood related to the Erlking in any way, I know this is kinda confusing but y'all see later.
General Information:
- This Hawaii Part II history happens in the 40's HAWAII WASN'T AN AMERICAN STATE BACK THEN (it became oficially the 50th state in 1959)!! that's why Stella is only labeled as Hawaiian instead of American + she doesn't know many ""American"" things
- Reincarnation and lives plays an important paper on this story, so if y'all see different desings (that aren't shown here) they are NO REDESINGS, is a hint to their past lives, also note, Simon is unable to remember past lifes since he is a mortal and blah blah, Stella DOES remember all past lives and has the power to reincarnate, as a hint i'll give you all, this is why she is somewhat "related" to Hina, the Moon Goddess.
- Both Erlkings are the same person btw!! one is just the ""normal"" version and the other can be taken as a more mounstrous one I think
- Instead of y'all wonder what the 'monsters' are here as said before lifes and reincarnations play a very important role, Hina and the Erlking are the ones who are in charge of keeping the reincarnation cycle, of course when a human/animal/living being in general dies and is unable to reincarnate and past the level 7 of heaven after a long time it ends up taking a espiritual (mounstrous) form and stays on Earth but as like a monster unable to reincarnate or back to normal kinda something like that its not really that much.
I can’t tell if I’m an idiot or a genius. The name “Miracle Musical” is a reference to miracle plays.
For those who aren’t aware, a miracle play (also called a mystery play) is a type of play that focuses on telling stories from the Bible.
Hawaii Part II written by Miracle Musical has many religious themes woven throughout. With mentions of heaven & hell, atoning for your sins, and references to Jacob’s Ladder on the album cover, the album is jam packed with biblical references and imagery.
There’s also a reference to The Erlking myth in the album, which isn’t biblical, but does show that the creators love a good historical deep cut.
