He’s still a little offended, and her words don’t do a whole lot to ease that feeling, genuinely meant or not. He doesn’t say anything, though, knowing full well that he wouldn’t be helping either of their cases if he pushed. There’s a moment where he hesitates, not quite sure whether he should apologize again or just keep walking. His manners cry for the former, but his roiling emotions of the day keep the words from forming. “Well,” he says eventually, “here’s hoping it gets better for you.”
“Yeah, Lets hope.” slipped from her lips before a hand was lifted to run through the tangled mess of brown hair. Any normal person probably would have just left it at that. Turned and walked away with out another thought. But Willa really hated when he snapped people. “Hey..” she looked down at her feet before lifting her eyes again to the man. “Let me get you a cup of coffee or something as a peace offering. I really don’t like being rude.. “
